The thing that makes me laugh is the hint of payback on Chara. There isn't going to be any payback on him because he's the baddest dude in the league. You can take whoever you think is the toughest guy in the world and put him on skates and Chara would s*** pump him. I wouldn't bet against him off the ice either.

Neither team really played their hand last night, more so the Wings sitting 3 guys that would've normally played. The one that suprised we was Daniel Sedin, it looked like a perfect time for the Canucks to give him a couple days off and spend time with his family and new baby. Maybe they are more concerned with him winning some reg season trophies then being healthy and rested. That being said he was probably the best player on the ice and the decider in the game

Cities and locations are cool but how about teams made up from guys who have been in jail, arrested, taken part in the NHL substance abuse program etc.... I guess Theo Fleury and Ed Belfour would be on all 3

And what happens in April, May and June should be all we are concerned about when it comes to this team. All that matters is that this team plays good at the right time of the year and that starts 8 games from now. You would be a fool to think that this group of guys don't know what it takes to win 3 weeks from now.

The Wings didnt work hard tonight? Really? They out played the Canucks bad in the 1st, Luongo made some big saves. In the 2nd the Canucks made some adjustments as good teams do and took it to us but we stayed in the game. The 3rd was a 50/50 period and they scored on a goal that many would argue was a hook on Drapes that turned into a terrible clearing attempt and a goal by the potential Hart, Art Ross and Richard trophy winner. We had a decent push but couldn't score. Two good hockey teams in a good hockey game I thought. If you are anywhere as negative in real life as you are in here then I feel sorry for your dog.

We have to play good for 2 months and we have 16 games left to get ready for those 2 months. It is ridiculous with the amount of experience, talent and professionalism that we have on this team that people think that this team is done. This team will crank it up come playoff time and whether that's good enough to win the cup time will tell.

This reeks of another situation which involved one of our current players where a player was seriously hurt. The Chara hit wasn't pre meditated but the legal threat and bulls*** is very similiar.
