Big deal ! All that spin o rama did was earn him a plethora of head shots, hacks and face washes for the rest of the year. Hope his pivot at center was worth that. Dats goal tonight was 100 times better than that shootout garbage. Shield the puck, top cheese backhand, little grin, no show boating.

I love people on this site who predict that the Wings will lose every game (ie. Mindfly) and then when they do occasionally lose they act like they are the mesiah of hockey predictions !

I agree, I can't give him much more than a C. He has periods of great play followed by episodes of complete terror. He has no goals and when he does make mistakes they seem to be glaring. I guess the good part about Raf is that the good always out weighs the bad. I have a feeling my criticism of his play will be gone soon.

Its so close in the west. LA and SJ are 9th and 10th with 26pts but they are 2 pts out of 2nd.

We did? Modano has 2 goals and 8 pts in 20 games. He's not exactly what you call a goal scorer anymore. I like Modano and hope he gets back in the lineup sooner than later but I don't think this injury changes the landscape of this team all that much.

Franzen wasn't very good tonight but he's not going to sit, dont be silly. As for defensive pairings I think that Rafalski should be paired with the pressbox but obviously he isn't going to be sitting out either.
