Personally I wouldn't think that the Pens would be too dissapointed about the way they played in the first 2 games but the fact of the matter is they are down two games, they have got out played between the pipes and we have gotten some good breaks. Great hockey teams find ways to win when they have injuries or just aren't on top of their game and thats exactly what has happened in the first 2 games of this series. Whining about the reffing is so original...just man up and play better.

Homer just needs to get better..simple as that...he was never great with the puck to begin with but he looks really bad with it right now. No confidence. If he continues to play bad on that line I would start sprinkling some other guys in there like Helm or something like that. We dominated that game today so I dont think that much is going to change. Depth is deadly and it showed today !!

This series seems pretty simple to me...we stopped turning pucks over 5-10 minutes into this game and ever since that its been like men playing with boys. The Hawks are very opportunistic. Bulin has been very good..it should be 3 or 4 to 1 at this point. What a contrast to playing the Ducks..obviously the speed of the game is different but the Ducks hardly ever seemed to make a bad turnover or get caught and the Hawks have made numerous bad pinches, bad turnovers and given up odd man rushes !!

#52 is on this team to stay and wont be missing any games for this team for many years to come unless he gets hurt!! He is playing 20+ minutes a game. I dont think we will miss Meech's 3:19 he logged today.

We have won the last two games..Abdelkader didn't look out of place at ll out there today and we are gonna put D-mac in for game 6?. I love D-mac and all but to think he's even going to take the pre game skate is silly !!

We played 60 minutes instead of 20 minutes tonight..end of story...you can read all the other stuff you want into it...we worked hard..our skill took over...we win !!

I agree with your first point..it would be fun to watch Helm race around all over the place making space for Dats and Hossa. Your second point is ridiculous...questioning Babcocks coaching is just silly...this guys has done more than enough to prove he is one of the best coaches in this league...he has won everywhere he has gone whether he's been given good players or not.

I think a little line tinkering and getting #43 some more ice time could be some little changes that might help us get better.

A couple of things have become apparent to me in this series so far....1. Can we please get Helm more ice time...this kid is something!! 2. I cringe everytime the Getzlaf line is on the ice. Hopefully we can find a way to contain them because there is no way we can stop them completely. I thought we started to play a little better near the end of the period...we just have to make sure we get pucks out hard in our end!!

I would love every seat at the Joe to be filled every game but as long at the people who are in those seats are making a s*** load of noise its all good with me. As far as I've seen so far in the playoffs this has been the case !!

It the Wing's cant beat that lineup we are terrible. The 2nd line has two guys I have barely even heard of. I guess thats why the game gets played on the ice and not on paper...they are obviously doing something right..they just uspet the Sharks !!

The Ducks are a one line hockey team...shut down Getz, Perry and Ryan and this series is over !! Hiller had a bored looking Sharks team shooting on him. He didnt face anything that compared to the likes of Hossa, Dats, Franzen, Z. Pronger looked good in this series because the Sharks looked slow...it wont be the same in this series...we will make that big dumby look stupid. If The Z line with Lids and Raf can shut down the Getzlaf line it is over. I like our chances.

Mlive is saying the the Wing's anticipate games 1 and 2 will be Friday and Sunday !!
