We have now played over 90 games this year...at this time of year anytime we can get a few extra days is extremely important. We are a veteran team that knows how to win so I dont think it's really a big deal.

Hold up there...at what point did I say I was a Pierre lover? There are plenty of other play by play guys or color guys I would rather listen to. I was just giving my opinion on what I think of him. Some people get so narrow minded around here they forget this is a discussion board for discussing things !!

Well I mean obviously what you guys think is the be all and end all of all discussions.

I mean Pierre can be exhausting but what is wrong with having a guy who is passionate about the sport we all love? He knows the game inside and out...tells us the stuff we want to hear (and some that we dont) but all in all he brings a perspective to the game that is different. I like alot of the different commentators out there but I absolutely have no problem with a guy like Pierre as long as I dont have to listen to him every game lol !!

Physical the Ducks may be but like the BJ's and every other team we destroy if we are moving the puck like we can and playing a puck possession style they can chase the puck around the ice and try to hit us. When they do catch us and hit us we will skate away as usual and play disciplined and they will fill the box, we will go to the PP and the rest is history I love my perfect world scenarios !!

I would assume that Nash would be joining that lineup most likely ? I would like to see Nash on the top line..move Doan to play on the 3rd line and Upshall to the 4th..who knows though..I love international hockey !!

When the Nucks made the final agains the Rangers in 94 or 95 or whenever the hell it was they made the mistake before the series started of having a photoshopped picture of Linden on the front of the Province newspaper holding the cup...they just dont get it around these parts. After the game last night they pretty much had a parade on Robson st. They won one bloody series lol.

We obviously can't get the matchups we want before the faceoff because of last change but we just need to make sure that we win faceoff, get pucks in deep and get the change we need to get the right guys on the ice right away.

Im quite sure they will show that little weasel on cam like 10 times with that smug troll look on his face !!

They will have last change which mean Nash will be out there alot but it shouldn't matter much..just continue to get the right guys on the ice and shut him down. We win a tight one 3-1 !!

It's like two seconds after we won the cup last year people were posting line combos for this year..I was like " Cant we just celebrate and stop talking about who or who wont be playing for this team next year !!"

Everyone on the Wing's and Jackets better be on their best behavior tommorrow night. Word is that Gary Butt...I mean Bettman is going to be in the house for the BJ's first ever home playoff game !!

The problem is that no one will fight the guy. He couldn't even get a scrap in the AHL when he was there..nobody wanted to fight him. I would love to see him knock that stupid grin off Tkachuk's face but I think Keith is smarter than that !!

Are you serious? In tennis the ball is either in or out..end of story...I can see challenging an offside but a penalty? As we've all come to know every ref in this league calls penalities differently so what would be the point of reference they would use to determine what is actually a penalty!! Goal disputes..yes...off sides..maybe...penalty calls...cmon...that would never work !!

That period could come back to haunt the blues...they outplayed the Nucks , they went 0-4 on the pp and I wouldn't expect Bobby Lou to let more than maybe one more in !! Feisty game though...its been fun to watch.

I have no idea how you cheer for 2 teams at one time in the same conference...It takes 150% effort of my heart and sanity to cheer for one team. My wife can't even comprehend how I act this time of year lol....good win by the Ducks tonight...The Sharks looked absolutely disinterested at times and it was awesome to see them get booed off the ice at the end of the game!! As for the Wing's... We got Ozzie to do what a goalie is supposed to do when his team needs him....After the 1st we worked harder than them and our skill took over..we got a lucky one but that s*** happens when you work hard. Before this series I was reading about how CBJ is a one line hockey team...after watching it would be safe to say that they are a one player hockey team...the only time in the game I felt that they were dangerous is when Nash was on the ice. Lots of hockey to go but it was nice to see us crank it up a gear tonight and play a solid game!!

If we work hard our skill will take over and this wont be much of a series, if we dont work hard at times this will be way too interesting for most of us to handle !! I think option 1 is what we are goiing to see. Lids shuts Nash down, we play a tight d game and win 4-1. GO WINGS !!

I love this place...we ***** when the experts don't pick us and we ***** when the experts do pick us ...what gives.......And then some stupid bloody monkey on TSN picks the BJ's to beat us in the first round. So in closing we have 3 monkeys who have made predictions (Melrose, Maguire, and Maggie) , so lets just hope the 2 loudest monkey's are right !!!

Boston over Carolina in 7 - Low scoring series Washington over Pitt in 7 - Wow...should be fun SJ over Calgary in 5 - Sharks just too much for Calgary Detroit over Vancouver in 7 - Bobby Lou gets shelled !! Washington over Boston in 7 - Chara and Ov wage war on each other !! Detroit over SJ in 6 - SJ comes up short again !! Detroit over Washington in 5 - Lids is the only one who can stop #8 We win ...end of story ..everyone lives happily ever after...Hossa signs on the cheap, Holland gets under the cap and we go for the 3 peat next year !!
