Being the superstitious head case that I am come playoff time I have gone back to the red jersey ( the only good thing about a loss was my other jersey finally got a wash) and I will make this my only post in the GDT until after the game. LETS GO WINGS!!

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!! Who hopes for a loss? This is a veteran team who knows exactly how close they are to the finals.

I hope it's very similar to game 4 of the Av's series!!

I had a list of all the people who jumped off the wagon and started doubting this team when we were on our tough losing streak in Feb and when we lost 2 in a row to the Pred's in the 1st round. The list got so long I gave up but I know for a fact (i won't name any names) that alot of those weasels are still around and loving this team right now!! So sad.

One very important rule of internet message boards, if you click on a thread and you dont like what you see, don't read any further. You posted not only once but twice, if you didn't like what you saw in the first place then go away, there was no need for the 2nd post. As for the goalie situation, Ozzy has been unreal, playing his angles great, keeping his composure..it's just been a very classy goaltending job by a classy NHL'er.

I agree, we knew they would come out hard, it has to be a little disheartening to them, they played easily their best period of hockey in the series and they are still down by a goal!!

Ribeiro is lucky that he saw Kronner at the last minute there or Kronner would have sent the slash master to the hospital!!

That was quite possible the biggest waste of 1:42 in my life....but hey different strokes for different folks!!!

My opinion is the fans don't give a s*** what style of hockey we play, we can play the more euro puck possesion style game we play now or play a more aggressive dump and chase hit everything that moves style. I think the fans are happy with one thing no matter how we get their and that is WINNING THE STANLEY CUP!!! As for the empty seats, people can have all the opinions they want, we have a winning team so the style isn't what is keeping some people away from the Joe, it's the economy and the fact that the Joe is an old outdated barn.

I think it just boils down to pure jealousy, plain and simple!!

I could care less if we score every goal in the series on the powerplay. We have proven we can score 5 on 5..that is no worry!!

Good first period by us, Dallas look's so scared to attack because they don't want to get caught up the ice. We will be hard to beat if we give up 4 shots a period..end of story. Now for my rant...I watch most of my hockey on TSN being that I am from Canada. I like the guys who call the games, Cuthbert and Miller are very good IMO, the analyst's like Pierre, Healey etc...are hit and miss with me, but the thing that is really getting on my nerves with TSN is that it seem's every intermission their only interest is complaining about the officiating. Do some player interviews, or bio's or analyze the strategic part of the game but for crying out loud quit picking apart every controversial call after every period!!

I agree with you other 3 points but I don't think keeping the puck away from Turco will come into play all that much against us because we don't dump the puck in that much and when we do they seem to be soft chip ins along the boards. Time will tell I guess.

The Stars are going to spend so much time in this series running all over the ice trying to hit people and by the time they figure out that they can't hit what they can't catch and that the puck moves a s*** load of a lot faster than a human it will all be over. Game 1: Wing's 3-1 I say we outshoot them 40-17

I took the other option and I will go with Mike Milbury, listening to quite possibly the worst general manager in the history of sports ramble on about how much he know's about trades and free agent signings makes my head hurt sooooo bad!!

Considering all but 4 ( correct me if i'm wrong) of the people on the list are golfing I wouldn't take offence to the fact that there are no Wing's on the list!!

That's funny Edi, I switched to my black practice jersey after game 4 and it hasn't been washed since, there is food, whiskey and all other sorts of DNA on it but it ain't getting washed until we lose a game...so basically what i'm saying is it isn't getting washed until next season!!
