Can we have two more contrasting styles of goalie on this team. Dom plays back in the net and relies on reflexes and Ozzie is coming way out to the top of his crease to make saves. I love them both but wow are they sure different!!

Lilly pads has been the defensive scape goat for a while now but our worst defenceman by far this year has been Kronner!! He looks so damn slow out there!

I'm not a big fan of Forsberg but if he could show up healthy it would make a big difference in our depth and might provide us with a second line that could create something.

OUTGOALTENDED...simple as that..we aren't playing that bad, in both games against these guys we have outplayed them but we have outplayed between the pipes bad. This game was ugly as hell with not much flow and we need to stay out of the box but Dom has to play better than this!! I won't throw him under the bus yet because I know he can turn it around but he has to be better!!

Two 200lbs+ human beings having a war in front of the net for almost 3 minutes and Homer gets called for that..thats what drives me nuts about this sport right now. Wow..can Dats and Z change the momentum of a game in a hurry!!

I definetely think that Ozzie deserves to and will play in more games this year than last year but it's a little quick to be throwing Dom under the bus. He is one of the most clutch goalies of all time and if he stay's healthy he will be the one to lead us to the promised land this year!!

He just wasn't a good fit in Detroit...he played some good hockey but he also took alot of nights off. I like Lang and hope he has a good year(except against us) but it was time for him to move on!!

5 games into the season and you are throwing half the team under the bus..get a ******* grip on your life dude and maybe check your blood pressure while you are at it. Its so early in the season and it just makes me laugh my ass off to hear people like you lose your mind. This team can play better and they will but for f*** sakes I don't think there is any need to panic with 77 games to go.

Geez the guy played one bad game..he is human.. I think the biggest side note from this is that he was wearing a knee brace for the game tonight. He got fell on top of in the game against Calgary Saturday and he is obviously feeling the effects of it!!

Ok I've seen it all now..Brad Isbister tough or an enforcer?..maybe in his junior days but the guy is a waste of oxygen now!! There are about 5 true enforcers in this league and the rest are just wannabes or guy's who drop the mitts occasionally.

Exactly..enforcers fight enforcers just because thats what people in the stands want to see. It doesn't really solve anything. If we dress 4 goons it's not going to stop Pronger or some other idiot from cheapshotting one of our good players. So in essence Pronger cheap shots one of our players and then Downey fight's Parros, whats the point of that? Pronger pay's no price!!

The part I like about Drake is that I think he is just stupid enough to drop the gloves with anyone!! I don't give two s***s if he gets the pulp beat out himself every time..as long as he is there to drop the mitts, put a stick on someones side or dish out a big hit every once in a while to let the other teams know he's there!! There are certainly different types of toughness. Some teams have goons and some don't...Homer, Z, Dats, Lids don't drop the gloves but they go into the corners everytime without hesitation which frustrates the hell out of teams when they hit hit hit them and they just keep bouncing back!! Toughness isn't all about having a couple of morons who sit on the bench for 59 minutes and then go out and take a stupid penalty trying to start a fight!! These goons don't even see the ice in the playoffs which in turn makes it alot easier for us come playoff time because we don't have to adjust the lineup because we have been playing 4 solid lines all year!! Really what good did MrGratton do in the Downie-Mcammond situation, he got no retribution, he threw a few failed shots and now next month he's going to make a spectacle of himself trying to get someone back. What will happen though is him and some other meathead from Philly who had nothing to do with the situation will drop the gloves and beat each other up. I love watching a good fight but in the grand scheme will those two fighting really solve the eye for an eye scenarion? Not likely!! Downey will probably dress a couple of games for us, who know's he might play well, he might get in a few fights but he certainly isn't going to make teams fear us!! If we outplay team's like we did Anaheim the other night team's will fear us for the right reasons!!

I live on the west coast in Canada and every year the Canucks release a pocket sized schedule. What I am wondering is if the WIng's do the same and if they do could someone send me a few. I don't know what the postage would be but I would pay it if its necessary. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks

There are about 4 or 5 analysts each year who give the same regular season prediction about the Wing's every year and every year they are wrong.....But one year may it be this year, next year or 5 years from now the WIng's might not be as good and they will act like the messiah of hockey predictions!! Barry the Mullet head Melrose happens to be one of these guys!!

The Canucks have this guy named Luongo between the pipes..they won't have to score many goals!!

Excuse me for being totally ignorant but I have watched this hit 100 times and besides the fact he was out for blood and that he left his feet slightly (he was going so fast how could he have not left his feet) I don't see a whole lot wrong with this hit. I don't like his intentions at all but I have seen hits that are 10 times worse than that where guys don't even get suspended. His elbows weren't flying, his stick wasn't swinging, I just don't see what the big deal is. McCammond had his head down and got smoked. If Downie makes that exact same hit and MCammond gets up right away or this same hit was made on Chris Simon or some other goon people on this site are saying "wow this Downie kid can sure hit get him on our team". The suspension is just another joke in the long line of joke suspensions this league hands out. No consistency at all!! We ***** how soft this league has become and now everytime a guy hits another guy in this area of the ice when he is counting his skate laces someone is going to get suspended. WHAT A JOKE!

I need a good goalie for my beer league team..maybe I can get those cheap pricks to toss in some money. Can anyone say RINGER!!
