Lots of stats are misleading like that..It would be like saying that Kobe Bryant missed the most shots in the NBA last year...he may have missed alot but he also made alot and led the league in scoring. Same with Dats, he handles the puck so much that he is going to give the puck away but he is also going to make a boat load of good plays and even some incredible ones, I'm also quite sure that the majority of Dats and Lang's giveaways were in the offensive zone and not the defensive zone!!

Are his demands that ridiculous.. Kevin Bieksa just got 3.6 a year in Vancouver and I love Bieksa's game and he is younger but Markov has to be somewhere in that ballpark. If we are going to bring in some gritty forwards we need to bring in guys like the Ducks have ie. Getzlaf, Perry, Penner, young gritty forwards who can put the puck in the net. Why are so horny for the draft this year? There is not one guy in this draft who will be an impact in this league in the next 2-3 years unless something crazy happens. Turris admitted today on tv that he thinks he's too skinny and underdeveloped to make an impact anytime soon in the NHL. As for Kane and van riemsdykearooney..cmon man..these guys have potential but saying we will be talking about them and how great they are in a few years in just crazy. Quit watching so much tv kid!! It's Dreger, Mackenzie, and Duthie job to pump up this draft on tsn preview shows or no one would watch it. Its being touted as one of the shallowest drafts in years!!

Turris may one day be a good player in the NHL but the fact that he's coming out of tier 2 junior hockey will allow me to withhold my judgement until the future!! He will not be coming to Detroit, neither will Floppa, and neither will Pitkanen and while were at it I don't think Smyth will be in the winged wheel either. He makes too much money. If we clear some room it might be worth a shot to try and land him but I highly doubt it!!

I must have missed the section in the rule book where it says a player can't intentionally shoot the puck at another player!! Was is gutless?.. yes!! Was it deserving of penalty?.. maybe 2 minutes for unsportsmanlike!! Does it deserve a suspension?...hell no!!
