I agree with you completely. And it's not like these two are 19 or 20 years old they are old enough and have played enough in the minors. They have nothing more to prove there, it is time they develop while playing in the NHL. Like I said add a top six forward, hopefully get bertuzzi and helm back, and add these two to play on a scoring third line and this team will be a tough out in the playoffs

What your saying right here is the problem. Weather it's babs or holland or a combination of both but we value players like Sammy, cleary, miller, eaves, etc over guys like Tatar and nyquist. You can't honestly tell me those guys are better. If Tatar and nyquist wer up playing solid roles all year we would be in a better spot then we are now. As well they would be even better players than they already are. It's nice to have vets, but when your stars are already vets it comes to the point where we don't need guys like cleary, Sammy, miller, etc. are best players are vets and have been there in the playoffs. They are perfect for guys like Nyq and Tatar. We are not a team like Edmonton where are whole top 6 is under 25 years old and we need vets to fill the depth to help the young guys. We have enough veteran presents. What we need is some utheful enthusiasm up front. Tatar and nyquist will help provide that. Please babs and Kenny free these two!

Ya I know that. I just really think they can help this team now and into the playoffs. Bring in a top 6 forward like pomonville/ gaborik and add these two and hopefully helm and your looking at a really good top 9. Fil- datsyuk- Pom/ gab Mule-z- brunner Nyq- helm- Tatar Abby- Anderson- tootoo

It should be this season! Would be so nice to add a top 6 forward as well as Nyq and Tats. Add in a helm return and that's four top 9 forwards added to this roster (as long as Tatar and nyquist were playing top 9 mins).

Play dekeyser! And honestly Quincey gets a lot of flack but he was playing well on a pairing with smith before he got hurt

This! From what I've seen brunner is working his *** off! At least he's putting an effort in unlike some players up front. Guy should be datsyuk's trigger man right now! Wasting him on the 3rd line

He spent 2 shifts on a top 6 line against the sharks. TWO shifts! Give the guy two or three games with are best players. What's the harm in that? It's not like he's gonna do worse then cleary, miller, Sammy etc

Of course he's been ineffective, every time he's been up he plays fourth line minutes. What do you honestly expect? Who cares that he's weak at least he makes plays. Franzen is big but does he make plays? No how bout cleary? No! The list goes on. At this point I'm not really worrying about how big you are, it's more if you got the offensive instincts and abilities to make plays. We have nobody that creates offense besides pav and hank

I agree that a lot of the blame should be on holland. But please tell my why nyquist didn't play today knowing that we lost a tun of offense in zetterberg. Or why Sammy was ahead of brunner in the lineup today even tho brunner is our 2nd leading scorer and has been busting his ass the last 5 games. You can blame Kenny which yes definitely he deserves, but babs should take some blame as well for the lines he puts together.

I disagree, I think Abby, Miller, Eaves, Emmy, and even Cleary all bust their asses. Unfortunately, they're all expected to fulfill roles on this team that their skill sets don't allow for. Cleary should be a third line winger, Abby a fourth line center, Miller and Eaves fourth line wingers, and Emmy as the 13 forward. Relying on anything more than that is going to get exposed pretty badly against teams with actual depth. This is exactly correct. This is also why I don't really get mad at these players. It's not there fault that there being put into positions they simply just can't fill. This is directly holland and babcocks fault. Why was Samuelson brought in? Tatar and nyquist can both fill that role better, cheaper, and will also grow because they are young. Also that 3M cap hit is saved an can be stalked up to bring in a shooter to play with pavel. Babcock is to fault too. He's in love with guys like cleary, Sammy, miller, etc. guys like nyquist and Tatar are brought up and stuck on the bottom lines??? These are offensive guys throw them into the top six and I guarantee with a little time they will produce like top 6 players

Oh in no way do I think we will get a scorer. We will probably do nothing and say helm, Sammy, Bert are our deadline deals. To be honest I'd just be happy with nyquist and Tatar in the everyday lineup playing offensive roles
