I think Babcock is an amazing coach I just don't understand how him and holland are so blind with the lineups, roster moves, and lines itself. After Wednesday (trade deadline) there is no excuse for roster moves, lines, etc... There's no roster limit so no excuse not to play nyquist and Tatar.

Mr. Holland please cut cleary, Samuelson, miller, and white. Play Tatar, nyquist, an dekeyser. And for the love of god bring in someone who can actually score a goal!

Exactly! I honestly am beside myself on this very thing. Guy is considered are top prospect and an offensive guy. We lose are second best player before the game and instead of inserting nyquist onto a second line we scratch him and throw in some duster 4th liners to fill the offense. Half the guys in this lineup tonight shouldn't play another game this year. We should be playing nyquist, And Tatar. This isn't to say play the young guys were tanking. This is actually the opposite. These 2 are better than half the forwards in this damn lineup. I don't know who's making these decisions, but it's getting really sickening watching these plugs play in vital roles when we have cheaper, younger, better players rotting in the minors. And I can't for the life of me understand why Tatar was thrown back down to GR. he was arguably are 4th best forward when playing. Sorry for the rant just so frustrating to see this crap

Why on earth is brunner on 3rd line? Probably are most skilled guy behind datsyuk playing today and he's rotting on the 3rd line with a team that has a horrid top 6

Hey guys was just thinking today and thought that I recently heard that after the trade deadline (Wednesday) that the roster limit rule is no longer and we can have whoever we want up. Was just clarifying If this is true. Because if it I think it could be huge for us. Think about it holland didn't wanna lose any of our bottom six guys due to the shortened season knowing we would have injuries. This could be a reason why he left Gus and Tatar in the minors for the most part. Now that there is no limit he can bring those two up and doesn't lose any bottom six forwards to the waiver wire. This allows babs to healthy scratch some guys, knowing that it probably doesn't matter cause most are free agents this offseason and won't be coming back. I hope this is the reason that's and nyquist haven't been up full time

What do you mean waivers? Is he not waiver exempt? Also I wonder when we get to the playoffs and the max roster rule is gone if we will see a very different lineup then we are today.

I prefer Tatar over Nyquist as well. But really why cant they both be up. There both good enough to be here and better then a lot of the dead weight over the hill grind guys that we are carrying ATM.
