Sure. I'm a hockey fan too. I can dislike Crosby as well and still like being a hockey fan. You still either do not get what people are trying to explain to you over and over again or are purposefully igonring it. Simple enough?

And again, pretty much anybody and everybody in here will acknowledge that he is one of the best players in the game today. There are other aspects about him that annoy people. Why don't you get this?

No they weren't, the hockey game was on in the entire restaurant pretty much and people were interested. And two wrongs don't make a right. Don't make fun of people enjoying football or baseball more down here. Kinda makes sense for people to watch the Super Bowl rerun down here since we won it all. It's a different environment than what you are probably used to and will always be different. It's neither right/wrong, good/bad. Let it be.

Everybody in here needs to grow up some. BOTH countries did very well overall in winning/medal representation. It's not all that hard to be proud of your country without belittling the other. I'm all for friendly jabs and ribbing, but some of you all are embarassing yourselves.

It might have some small impact, but that's probably it. I was watching the game at a restaurant in the New Orleans area and just about everybody else there probably is just the casual fan. When Parise scored to tie it, we all went nuts in the restaurant which is great obviously, but in a week or two hockey will probably wear off for the majority. At least down here in all likelihood.

Officiating was as good as it could get. Wished for a different result but it was about as fair a game as it could've been called. Good job officials!

Not blinded at all. I get that he's one of the best players in the game. He gets too much damned attention and media ignores is questionable attitude traits. It has nothing to do with a Red Wing not being covered more or whatever else. What is so hard for some of you to understand about this? Or why do you purposefully ignore this?

And it is posters like you that still do not get it. Pretty much everybody respects his play and realizes he's one of the best players in the world presently. At least I do. We cannot stand the absurd amounts of overattention he gets, his questionable attitude/appearance at times, and media humping his leg and just intentionally igonring his questionable traits. THAT IS IT. Talk about other people as well.

That doesn't make it any more right/wrong. Who gives a damn. It's petty bantering and it's stupid. You can be proud of your home country without giving s**t to the other country. It's not diffucult.

It has absolutely nothing to do with jealousy, it has absolutely nothing to do with not recogonizing he is one of the better players in the game right now. I respect his game and talent. I don't respect his quesitonable attitude/whining, and I don't respect the over-attention and leg humping thrown his way. It's irritating and it's a shame some people on here still do not get that's what people have been upset with regarding Crosby all along.
