But it plays a factor in disliking athletes and it basically means that people are sick and tired of hearing about these guys. That is why I mentioned players from other leagues that get an absurd amount of attention. The whining angle may be used overzealously at times, but when your own peers/players in the NHL say you ***** and whine and moan the most, that has to count for something. Crosby whines and complains. Let people dislike him without having to give them s**t or make them feel guilty about it.

Of course we're going to be biased for the Red Wings to a degree since we are Red Wings fans. Kinda seems logical there. Crosby may not have asked for this stuff, but he got it. He gets too much attnetion, he whines more than necessary. Fellow NHLers themsleves said so. What more credible evidence do you need? Why can't people that dislike him do so without getting a hard time from people like yourself?

When an NHLer says he is a baby, when he is voted by NHLers of being the biggest whiner out there, when he gets so much over the top attention to where it annoys the hell out of people. What other proof do you need? I used to be right there with you in thought. But the attention he gets is absurd. I'm not jealous of him, I already know he is one of the best in the game presently. But he complains and is irritating too much, and like Tim Tebow in college football, Brett Farve in the NFL, or Lebron James and Kobe Bryant in the NBA, he gets talked about way too damned much where it's like they are creating miracles out there instead of just talking about them as athletes. There are other people out on the ice/playing surface as well.

Watching the Red Wings is a hobby of mine that I enjoy. It is juist that though and has it's place. There is more to life than the Detroit Red Wings.

Crosby whines. It is irritating and annoying. I originally thought that people were nuts overly complaining about him, but I was wrong. He gets too much attention to start, like Tim Tebow in football, Lebron or Kobe in the NBA, and so forth. But also there's just something about him when you shudder or you just don't want to be around. He's one of the better guys in the game right now on the ice, but acts like a sour little kid way too much sometimes. That and the attention he gets, often unnecessary attention where it's like saying "Crosby can turn water into wine!!!", is absolutely stupid. It's not surprised he sin't all that liked not just by Wings fans, but plenty fans around the league.

Definitely miss Samuelsson and would love to have him still around. I like the underdog that people get on illogically. He alone wouldn't be able to solve all the Wings problems this year though so far. Injuries have just been absurd.

And it's pretty much just as damned annoyed for you telling people off as well in the exact opposite fashion. And on the thread topic specifically, predictions may have been incorrect but nobody could've forecasted these injuries. Winhgs defintely aren't playing well, but injuries have been a factor in the equation.

I get that people have been killed by drunk drivers, but I'm really tired of getting lectured by the holier than thou people who don't drink/barely drink about stuff like this. It seems you can't even have just one or two drinks in a normal and RESPONSIBLE setting without getting obnoxious grief these days about "ZOMG DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!" I didn't really see much details of this deal with Chelios, but I'm so sick and tired of feeling like I'm getting a guilt trip or lecture about drinking. I'm still gonig to have my fun RESPONSIBLY. If that's too hard for some over the top drinking/driving lecturers, that's not my problem. Sorry, just a rant about drinking and going out and driving in general.
