Not a big steak fan, but sure. The person below me thinks this is funny (skip to about 30 seconds in, no clue what the beginning part has to do with the video).

And I'd be surprised if this happens too if they make the playoffs. And if things keep going the way they do I would start Howard in the playoffs. But, the only thing that has been decided, or assumed betwen now and then, is that Howard is probably going to continue to get the majority of starts for at least the next few games. That's it. Saying that anything else has happened or that Osgood is finished is making a false start (though the odds are definitely in Howard's favor to start in the playoffs right now if we base it on perfromance).

Find some stuff I specifically stated then saying that Osgood should presently start or will lead us to Heaven. I'd love to see them. Pretty much nobody here is saying that Osgood, at present time, should be starter or even start close to half the games. Pretty much everybody here gets, at present time, that Howard is the man between the pipes. Pretty much everybody in here gets that Osgood hasn't played great lately. To say that the goaltending position though is cemently planted 100% when there is still time before the playoffs start, and when we haven't read any credible sources saying that Howard is the #1 goalie for the rest of the season or Osgood is the backup for the rest of the season, is pre-mature. That's all I have been saying or thinking all along in these last few posts. If that makes me delusion or an Osgood slappie somehow to you, well that's not my problem. Wanting Osgood to falter just to prove a point and tell people I told you so is absolutely sad. You are acting petty and f**king pathetic.

So the thought that some would prefer to tell people "I told you so" and rub it in if it comes to Osgood not playing/screwing up over seeing the Wings win has some merit to it. However much you want to believe that, you be the judge, but just check a few of the recent psots on the past page... Some of you people are really sad. Really, really sad.

Homer's my favorite player, but it's been just 1 game. PPs go through hot and cold stretches all the time. Hopefully it's a sign of a hot stretch.

Can't say that I'm terribly shocked. Ericsson has been a turnover machine lately unfortuatnely. I have little doubt he's with the team for the long haul but for right now, he has been struggling badly. Just a short-term thing hopefully.

You all can say what you want but Osgood didn't rack up all those wins in his career by accident. They didn't just fall out of the sky. He's arguably been the best goalie, when it has counted most, in the past 2 postseasons. This is not a call to suggest playing Osgood over Howard in the present or to even play Osgood more presently. The Wings don't have the luxury to experiment per se, fighting for every point they can for the playoffs. Presently, Howard has proved he's the man for the time being. Not that hard to figure out. This is just a quick post to not forget what Osgood has meant to this organization over the majority of his career. It's just said that we've got to have a'holes on here that always have to say "I told you so" if/when Osgood has a bad game or want to see him fail (that last part might be a stretch but it would not shock me if that are some that want to see him lose).

You always suggest this in here, and he is never going to get traded. Why do you keep suggesting this when this is not going to happen? What do you have specifically against Draper, and Draper alone, compared to other people?

In my honest (and stupid) opinion, I'd be willing to try to part ways first with Lebda or Meech. They probably have some decent trade value, though not deal breakers. With Leino, he's obviously been a big disappointment this year, but I'd be still willing to give him more time as he's still a rookie/young etc. If they try to get rid of him first through waivers and he doesn't want to go to Grand Rapids, let him do his thing in Finland. Slim/none that Maltby goes, whether you like it or not, there is a loyalty factor there that can't be denied. Brad May, I would hope they'd keep him around even if he were just a healthy scratch the majority of games. If they do put him on waivers, I doubt he'd be claimed (just my guessing though).

Flipper and Datsyuk have played together in the past, a lot in the '07 playoffs and some in '08 playoffs, so there is some "chemistry" there.

Either watch the Olympics or do the things I always do when there isn't hockey or sports to watch - work, exercise, read, etc.

I am so looking forward to the upcoming weekend. And hopefully late Sunday evening where the biggest party in the world be going on.
