Howard. 50+ saves helps as well.

Leino so far even though his sample size is shorter. Deveraux was never counted on to be a big goal scorer or stuff like that. His play or lack thereof was often overblown in here and he wasn't all that bad. Not great/not terrible. Leino has plenty of time though to improve.

Why? Bingo. As usual, people are reading way too much into things in regards to goaltending. It is not that hard to figure out right now. Wings need points. They do not have the luxury of being a top seed right like they have been for a while. They need the guy who gives the best chance to win. Right now that guy is Howard until Howard consistently shows that he has faltered. He has not done that yet.

^ This. It isn't right, but is certainly not uncommon. And I don't need any lectures on possibly getting DUI's, whatever else. Chelios f'ed up. He knows it, probably feels bad about it. He shouldn't be castrated over it. It sucks but there's no point being angry at him forever at it. Yeah Yeah I know, but what if he killed somebody, they won't forget or forgive him, yadda yadda yadda. If this somehow makes me a bad or a stupid person......well, I'm sorry.

It's still pretty simple. Howard's been playing well lately. Until he really s**ts the bed and plays real bad for a game/stretch of games, he's playing the majority right now. Come playoffs, unless Howard just doesn't let go of the starting goaltender job, we all know Osgood will be between the pipes in all likelihood.
