Certainly not, but it played a huge factor in determining the outcome of the game. Three times already this season the referees played a bigger part in deciding the outcome of the game than necessary, and we're only 1/4 through the season. Last night, the Dallas home game recently, and the road game at Colorado where Bertuzzi had a goal waved off because of intent to blow the whistle. Being a referee is hard stuff, but they got to get rid of these phantom interefence and intent to blow the whistle rules on goals. They are absolutely disgraceful rules. Referees are certainly not out to get the Wings off course, the wrold isn't against us, but the incomptency of the rules are absolute jokes.

Again, there is a problem with players being banged up and depth......

How would a trade work? The team is too banged up right now to just make a few tweaks. The team is stuck with what they got right now for better/worse. Just juggle lines and stuff like every other team might do when they go in a funk. Not that complicated.

5 games is a love top given what Laraque did, especially for a guy for doesn't play every night or 20 minutes a game or whatever. Kronwall stated that it wasn't a dirty hit. There may be some truth to that and it's entirely a perception thing, but it wouldn't shock me if a reaeson he said that was not to spout off any extra flames to the press and media, given how press/media can get stupid and go overboard on stuff. Is Laraque a good guy in the grand scheme of things? Yeah. Was the play dirty? Yeah. Does it suck? Yeah. Is 5 games too lenient? Yeah. Hopefully it's just a 1-time deal for both Kronwall and Laraque. Time to move on from this (I know I know, say that to KRownall who's still injured, etc.).
