No, you are just asinine about this. To say that people just don't give a damn or don't try out there is just stupid. I hate that Hossa didn't produce overall but to say that he didn't try or didn't give a damn out there is a joke.

Good for Guerin, good for Pittsburgh. Always nice to see a trade acquisition deal like this work out (generally speaking ). Guerin has had a few playoff blunders, but he was somebody I always wouldn't have minded having on the Wings (in a bit of a reduced role now as he's gotten older obviously).

Hockey isn't played using statistical projections. And no, power forwards aren't a dying breed. It isn't required that power forwards have to fight. Just because people don't fight or always face up to people doesn't mean they are a bunch of cowards.

I keep the TV on in my house, but I don't set my personal time much towards TV watching, just glance at the news or a movie or something while I'm doing other stuff. Not even 10 games in 4 seasons in the NHL. Plenty of players in the NHL are going to have 9 bad games over the course of 4 seasons, whether they are superstars or benchwarmers, great players or bad. It is not enough of a sample size to judge a player's performance and say the person is terrible or not if they are going to be playing in the NHL for good. I enjoyed Conklin's time here and wish he was back, and nobody here is saying that Jimmy Howard is the second coming of Ken Dryden but throwing him out on the curb before he's even played is very, very pre-mature.
