Not really a fan of the idea. One of the good things about playoffs in a long season, whether it is NHL or NBA or another league, is the playoff series being at home and the crowds being even that more excited and jacked up. A neutral site would take away from that I think.

Am perfectly content with Osgood and Conklin in net right now, neither are that incompetent for the play just to go way down the crapper and be one of the major reasons the Wings might go downhill, if that happens obviously (not suggesting it is/will, don't want it to, etc.).

May I ask which referees "hate" the Wings, or any team for that matter without getting into O'Hallaran phantom intereference jokes? Referees don't hate or have it out against any team, nobody is out to conspire against the Red Wings. Officiating is just going to far from perfect and inconsistent in just about every game played, regardless of the teams. Just a fact of life, and that can be said for pretty much any sport, for better or worse.

Go Conklin absolutely, AND Osgood as well.

I've barely read this thread, but let me say this in the event if Zetterberg rejects a contract offer worth a decent amount of cash and people go apes**t over it. It is still early in the game, and contracts are a lengthy process, even in just run-of-the-mill jobs like we have. It's just negotiations like any other job where you try to get your best offer/most worth in the place you want to work/play in. Nothing to get angry or lose sleep over right now.

There are plenty of "colder" places more viable if that is the only consideration, but I think Vegas could be workable though with some more good planning. Where would it be played though, assuming it is there? I've never been to Vegas so I'm not all that familiar with the strip. If you want it to be around the strip, UNLV's outdoor football stadium is out of the question as it's a little east of the strip/outskirts of the city I think. I've seen the stadium itself on TV though, it's pretty nice, doesn't look like there's a bad seat in the house, seats a little over 40,000, etc. And there's no need to result in personal attacks either.

As has been said a few times in here, when you get the same things asked 600 times, you are going to give the same answers almost every time more or less. Nothing really shocking. The questions that players get asked are just as cliche as the answers. It's not good, it's not bad, it just is what it is.

Doesn't matter how good or bad of a player you might be, people are going to go through slumps every now and then. To me it doesn't have as much to do with Datsyuk/Zetterberg being together or apart, moreso that people slump every now and then, regardless of who the player is. There's no denying that Zetterberg and Datsyuk playing together was a helluva combo. However, both made each other look good, not just Datsyuk making Zetterberg look good alone, and vice versa. Would I like to see them back together just to see them do their stuff and make other teams look silly? Without question. However, this team has even more depth this year vs. last year and goal production is not a problem. I don't mind keeping them split apart.

Accidentally such as breaking a wine bottle over your wrist while you were dancing like a goofball at a wedding. That happened to me once and it was quite the funny spectable, even though my gash was ridiculously deep. Never once did we consider going to the hospital, I was having too much fun. The wound was that bad. And I wasn't drunk when this happened. No oak tree in my yard, just a tree in my backyard with no leaves thanks to the Fall season. The person below me thinks that "nippilicious" would be a funny sounding word if it was real.

Only one off the top of my head that I really don't like much is Buffalo's current logo. The swords and the animal on their former red/black/white jerseys were great works of art. I still like the coloring of their jerseys, not the new animal look though.
