psychoBABle? Funny. And I wouldn't fret too much. I understand the frustration of losing a game partially you were dominating early as well as a very entertaining game regardless if you were a fan of either team or neutral, but so little 4 on 4 is played in the playoffs, and not every game is going to go into overtime in the regular season, that this wouldn't be incredibly high up on my radar of worry.

I'm more of a lay out by the pool kinda person, but I love the concept and wouldn't mind going to such an area right now, despite the not-so-accomodating temperatures to a beach area right now. The person below me has poured orange juice in their cereal before, either willingly or by accident.

I have little doubt that in the grand scheme of things, Pronger is a good guy. Wouldn't mind having a beer or two with him in all likelihood. He's one of the better defensemen in the league, no doubt. However, hist WTF moments really stand out, and not in a good way for him personally. There have been a handful that we won't forget anytime soon and he seems to have more of these than a lot of other players in the league.

Yep. Pronger went with the arms a little bit but Parise there needed to use the basic theme of "keep your head up". Look I question a lot of Pronger's hits but this isn't one to be seriously blown out of proportion, at least from just the video evidence seen in here (which isn't much to start with). Pronger has done worse and little or nothing should result from this if it is reviewed by the league at all, unless better video evidence can be used.

That's part of their job. I love writers who are 100% honest and just try to stick to news and the facts, but in my opinion it is hard as a journalist to do just this and you need to write like you are coming out of left field sometimes in order to get attention to your writing. Sometimes you are right, sometimes you are wrong. This guy was incorrect with his guesses but as has been pointed out already, with the amount of flipping out the fans in here do and turning they would do whenever the Wings struggle or hit some adversity, I wouldn't go too far in calling this journalist out.

No. I'm basically saying that you saying that Datsyuk has always been better than Zetterberg is a big stretch. Sometimes better than Zetterberg? Yes. Always better than Zetterberg? No. This past postesason? No, Zetterberg has a personal trophy which signifies the best overall player to show for that. This season so far? Yes. There is a big difference between always and sometimes. I don't know why Rob Blake was voted the Norris over Lidstrom, have to ask the actual voters on that one I guess. And I'm not really sure what this has to do with the conversation.

To play devil's advocate, I wouldn't go that far in saying that he ALWAYS has been better than Zetterberg. How about last postseason for example? How come Zetterberg won the Conn Smythe over Datsyuk then? With that being said, I am glad to have both of them on the Wings and hopefully for a long while.

Lovely stuff edi, much congrats. Today I ran in a 9K (5.6 mile) race that went through one of New Orleans' more historic neighborhoods and ending up at Jackson Square in the French Quarter. I ran it in 50:25, but wasn't really satisfied as I wanted to try to run it in 48 minutes or better. I guess the good part is that I still had plenty of steam left running towards the end of the race after around 5 miles and I was passing up people left and right. I just hate in races like this though where I think I keep a decent pace but it is still slow, and not knowing when to pick my pace up early enough to where I still have enough energy and stuff to cut some time off the final result. This means that Datsyuk has developed a very impressive all around game and isn't know for just flash and dash. He plays impressive defense and backchecking, and has the ability to play physical now on a consistent basis when needed. That might not have been able to be said or been apparent a few seasons ago.

They've never really gone off track in a big way to begin with. The Wings are making the playoffs baring an earthquake in Detroit. They have plenty of time to try to fix any bugs by March and April.
