Not now. Sleep for me during the week is usually reserved between 11:00pm - 4:30am/5:00am, pending sporting events. The person below me has picked their nose this week. I dunno........

Bee Gees - You Should Be Dancing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6ccjD_hfSk Get down and boogey! :carrot:

Nope. While I don't have an overstuffed wallet making my a** looking huge and am far from counting my money to myself in the mirror, thankfully I don't have to resort to this. The person below me has woken somebody up recently with either an airhorn, shaving cream, firecrackers, a tazer, or a cold bucket of water (and gotten their butt kicked afterwards ).

And I don't need reminders or re-visitations of any of the debates of the past between the pro-Osgood clubs vs. negative-bias-Hasek clubs and the pro-Hasek clubs vs. the negative-bias-Osgood clubs to convince me of goaltending one way or another. Both were/are great goalies, and I trust Osgood right now, and I'm leaving it at that. Both him AND the defense need to play more consistently.

Stop cursing guys, this is a family environment!

Nope, being a crappy cook and usually not eating big meals and eating the same stuff at home contributes to that. The person below me has had an unfortunate incident happen to them similar to this...

Here are a few I thought of off the top of my head. I'll post others if they come to mind to me later. Give him the "Gourmet Shot"! Be a bad motherf**ker! Labatt Blue hockey commercial with the bear ripping saves out of his rear. Aaron Downey vs. Brad Norton "no fight" Jeremy Roenick getting his groove on :carrot:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Mes053P3TU

Nah, when you have an 8-5 job during the week and get up around 5:00am just about every morning, being under the influence isn't the wisest of ideas. The person below me has monsters in their closets.

We suck. Sorry, that's the best I can come up with at 5:30am. *shrugs*

While true on the game, let's not get carried away here. It's only been 1 game.

For me, it has absolutely nothing with our favorite team winning a Cup and beating Crosby to get it, Detroit vs. Crosby/Pittsburgh, nothing like that. He's been promoed as one of the main marketing guys in the league well before he started in the NHL, it was planned for a long while that he would be a big piece of the marketing of the NHL, he seems like a good guy who stays out of trouble and all that stuff, I don't see what the huge fuss is, unless Crosby bullied some people in here when they were kids or stole their lunch money or something. If it bothers you (not you specifically BTRD) that much, hit the mute button, change the channel like I do with most politics lately, find a different NHL channel on Center Ice, etc. EDIT: If somebody tries to counter with me that I don't hear as much since I don't live in more of a hockey climate geographically.....I read sports sites online just about every day for hockey news. I have Center Ice. I have plenty of access to hockey news and media. I take a lot of sports writing though with a grain of salt, because there's so much information you can read and so many ways you can twist articles around to where you get overly annoyed or overly happy too much by what somebody says or writes. I don't have time and don't want to make time to find ways to get angry from media slants/bias since there's so much info out there and so much going on. It's not worth it to me.

Need to plug my school/conference when the general public outside the conference might actually give a hoot to pay attention enough. Thursday evening #11 TCU will be playing at #9 Utah. One of these school's stock will go up in terms of getting a BCS bid if they can win this game. TCU is 9-1 with their only loss coming to Oklahoma. Utah is still undefeated at 9-0. Should definitely be an entertaining game to watch on TV.

Surprisingly no considering I'm around the "getting married age", if there is such a thing, in my late 20s. That will change though soon as one of my cousins my age is tying the knot and the wedding is soon. Much congrats to him. The person below me eats as much and/or as fast as the Cookie Monster. The person also eats going "OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!" like the Cookie Monster does.

He gets good press for good reason. He was getting hyped well before getting into the NHL. The good hype is warranted and deserved. It isn't stupid, what's ridiculous is how fans get hissy fits over him being promoed by the media, or Crosby himself, and how obnoxious those hissy fits get.
-
It'd certainly benefit me geographically. And there actually is a minor league franchise about 90 minutes away from where I live already. It's time to panic and push the button just because.

<--- Has never bought a lottery ticket. The person below me has toilet papered a house or been the victim of a toilet papering before.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/columns/stor...&id=3674774 Neat little dealie on how the Sharks are trying to emulate the Red Wings success of last season.
-
You never know, he was playing some good hockey back before his injury, led forwards on the team in hits at the time of his injury, yadda yadda yadda. His play late last year was much better than what's going on right now.

Shouldn't be too surprised. The entire defense has been underperforming, but Lebda seems to be the one that has been noticeable the most unfortuantely. Personally I'd put Cleary on the 2nd line w/ Zetterberg and Samuelsson but that's probably why I'm not a sports coach and I usually talk stuff out of my rear end when discussing sports.

WE'RE F**KED!!!!!!!! WE'RE F**KED!!!!!!!

No lie. I'll take a 7-2-2 record all day if this is the "adversity" I'd have to deal with in spite of a few things. Yep, Babcock is as good as we think he is (me thinks ).

Call up Garrett Stafford. *end sarcasm of bad joke*

Were you saying they were the worst defensive pairing ever when we were winning the Stanley Cup Final series?

So the NHL Center Ice commercial focuses on the Penguins team. Big whoop. Not everybody has to be stroking the Red Wings ego all the time. And I find it hard to believe that showing recap coverage of the Penguins and Wings in this context to be extremely disrespectful. You know the Wings are good, I know the Wings are good, I'm content in leaving it at that. Crosby/Pittsburgh is one of the main NHL marketing focuses right now, whether it is right or not. It's not that bad to deal with. They got a commercial, we got a Cup. I'll take a Cup over a commercial any day of the week.
