Drat It's been so long since I've seen Kindergarten Cop (and I've only seen it once), I really have no clue what you guys are talking about.

Hasek is option B, a good option B, and one that will probably not even have to be used assuming Osgood doesn't fall in the s**tter with his play, which I doubt would happen. The few of you suggesting Howard in over Hasek right now seriously need to lay off the peace pipe.

Unless Osgood is a major reason that the Wings lose game 6 (not just one bad goal or a late game winning goal per se, but many goals given up etc.), possibly change. But Osgood has given the Wings absolutely no reason to make a goaltending change right now.

All right this doesn't make any sense... London Bridge if Falling Down... That song doesn't give me a whole lot of confidence that London Bridge is stable. Gives me the sense that engineers did a crappy job building the bridge when they did. If London Bridge is supposed to fall down, I feel sorry for the people driving/walking on the bridge if/when it does. *shrugs*

I tried pressing it but all I touched was my computer screen! No need to be content/overconfident, and no need to feel like this series is done for the Red Wings now or when the series was 3-0. It takes 4 games to win a series no matter what part of the series you are in. That being said the Stars still have the uphill climb.

I know I'm going to give a boring/default answer, but outside of a select few such as Hudler, all of them need to step up. I don't think they (or don't think they should) have to miss Franzen this badly. They showed they can win without him, and in fairly dominating fashion in game 3, they can certainly do it again.

The series isn't over yet until somebody loses or wins 4 games. Dallas is still closer to losing 4 games.

It might be worth I shot I think, but also consider, and the result of this post is probably me feeling 50/50 on them subbing for each other at their current points in their careers but... I think we've come to experience that Downey brings extremely limited offensive potential out there. Not that McCarty bring a whole lot more at the current part of his career. Fighting is almost null and void in the playoffs. It happened once this year for the Red Wings (in the game I acutally took a road trip and attended live vs. Colorado ), and as much as I like "sending a message" out to a team, you want to keep those selfish sending a message-type penalties to an absolute minimum. I certainly like Aaron Downey, I just don't know how much better he'd be over McCarty to make that much of a significant difference in the game to where we say something more than, "Oh look there's Aaron Downey out there" and nothing else. And it's not like the Red Wings are getting completely mauled out there physically to warrant such a change immediately IMO. Again, would be open to try it, just not sure how effective such a change would be.

Yep. Don't sound so shocked either that I would take a middle-of-the road, trying to consider everything perspective. Wings have blown big series leads before where they looked like they were dominant and then fell in the s**ter. Colorado 1999 and Los Angeles 2001, both lost 4 straight before. Blowing a big series lead has happened before and while I'm not hoping it does again, it certainly can happen again.

Because if I take it to small claims court, it will just drain 8 hours out of my life and you probably won't show up and even if I got the judgment you'd just stiff me anyway!
