While I am not even going to come close to calling Perry (or any other NHL player for that matter) a wuss, and I don't get all that hyped up or opinionated on fights like a lot of members do in here, I am strongly opinionated on one thing if it's probably just going to be your normal fight like Drake/Perry this evening... if you wear a visor on your helmet, take the helmet off. It's an unfair advantage/unfair defense mechanism. Hell, all the standard fights should be helmet-less, regardless of if you have a face shield or not.

That's all nice and dandy, but I don't make the megabucks and certainly won't anytime soon, nor does she (I am assuming), so why get all riled up over the network then? Why waste all your time and energy then? If she cared that badly, write a letter to them, or get into sports broadcasting journalism or something. Your friend seems like a person that (1) would yell and scream at me for being so non-chalant about almost everything and (2) somebody that I would strangle after awhile for yelling and screaming at me for 45 minutes straight about such things.

Good for Datsyuk. As for rotating alternate captains or whatever, who cares? Doesn't really matter this much. Plenty of these guys have been in this league long enough to know what it takes to play at this level to be informal (not captain/assistant captain) leaders of a team.

Well, I haven't tried to order anything yet, but I went through my TV listings and they were available all the way up to the first few days of October. MLB Extra Innings/NHL Center Ice are on the same stations for my cable provider, but I checked just to make sure they were still showing it and MLB swtiched to NHL Center Ice on October 3rd. I'll probably just wait to order during the first few days of October. So, looks like I'm covered.

Good god you are confusing. First everybody disrespects Yzerman, then you say Yzerman isn't truthful and is a liar with some comments? What gives with you? Also to keep in mind...my cable company offered a free preview of NHL Center Ice the first week. And Ihockey is probably the 1000th most popular sport in the totem pole down here (exaggerating a lot, but you know what I mean...). So, I'm assuming that is the norm for a lot of companies that offer the packages. Now I haven't seen them move the NHL Center Ice package to in-season yet, but again that's because baseball is on the same stations and I have to wait for the regular season to end at the end of this month, but if the first regular season is a free preview, there's nothing to worry about and there's plenty of time to order it.

NFL is just a lot more popular to the general American public than the NHL will ever be. You or I may not like it but that is just a simple truth, hence more coverage.
