I've come to the conclusion that I suck at racquetball, and I wish I wasn't!

Well laudey-fricken-dah! We got ourselves a writer here!

To infinity and beyond!

You all will ROLL OVER the Saints next weekend. If the Lions don't win by at least 10, I dunno what to say then. The Saints are just that bad, probably worse than the 49ers.

So which song is more annoying? The song where the girl goes "My Hump" about 100 times, or the song "Shake that Laffy Taffy"? or... The Wheels on the Bus song

The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round The wheels on the bus go round and round, all day long!

Have you driven on I-94 and all the Michigan freeways? Drivers in Detroit are horrible, not to be racist but black women gabbing on the cell phone trump Asians. First sign of snow, and it really wasn't snowing, I see someone plow right into the back of a semi. How you do that I'll never know. Hell, driving back yesterday I saw the front ends of about 5 cars just chilling in the median. I don't know if people in Detroit buy their cars with dents all over the place or they do it themselves. I'm guessing they do it themselves but you never know... Yikes! Actually I have driven on I-94, I-75 during a Friday rush hour, and I-696 a few times without any problems.

Thanks! And for the record, Louisiana is home to the worst drivers in the history of the world.

Tip: Use extreme caution if you are doing laundry while watching hockey. I was ironing some clothes while watching the game against the Panthers last night and when Schneider hit the post, I thought he scored initially and I raised my arms up, one holding the heated iron obviously, and I came extremely close bringing it back down burning my arm to a crisp.

This pic also in the Stanley Cup thread.

Let me ask you all something? Will there be a more torturous game to watch when the Lions come down to play the Saints on Christmas Eve? I will almost guarantee you that watching the Saints is almost as bad as watching paint dry for 5 hours. They will make the local pee-wee squad look good and the pee-wee squad wins on occassion. Especially with Aaron Brooks benched for the rest of the season (which might be a blessing actually), I won't be surprised one bit if the Lions win and win big because the Saints make a habit of making themselves look stupid. I know the Lions do too as well, I watched the end of the game against the Packers, but trust me on this one, you all will win this game.

Tip...don't wake up at 5am just about every morning like I do!

Let's chat away here about anything and everything with the upcoming season! I won't be able to comment accurately on Michigan schools or Big-10 action, haven't looked too much into the conference, but my inital guess is it'll be up in the air between Michigan and Ohio State. I think something that could work in Michigan's favor is it Texas beats OSU early in the season, that could wear them out IMO. My school played Northwestern a few times when I was there, so they are a team that interests me some. They could possibly get to a bowl game if they stay injury free and play fairly consistent. I'm a huge LSU fan, so I pay good bit of attention on the SEC. I don't know much about Tennesssee, but some are considering them National Championship contenders. Speaking for LSU, they're ranked usually between 6-10 in most polls, but they have all the talent in the world, especially on offense and a not-too-demanding schedule to contend for the National Championship. The big keys for them is staying healthy and having a quarterback step up. They signed a high-school all-American from around the region where I live and he's talking like he's coming in right away. I want to see him play, but we got another quarterback that was inconsistent last year but was heralded and just played magnificently in the bowl game LSU was in last year. I'd like to see this guy start initially and see if he can play consistently during the season. It'll be interesting for my alma mater, TCU. Conference switch to the MWC where there's no real dominant team, but you'll probably see plenty of 7-4, 8-3 type records. TCU could be one of those schools as well if the pass defense improves a bit, it wasn't a pretty sight last year for the defense, we went 5-6 last season missing a bowl game for the first time in 7 seasons, when the talent the team had should've easily yielded a record of at least 8-3. They got lots of talent on offense, but defending the ball in the air will be the big issue again. My bad for the long insight.

Yep, we got no choice but to do that for better or worse.
