And the point is proven that you can pretty much spin any argument the way you want to to justify a team being lucky or whatever. For any bitter Penguins fan in 2008, I can guarantee you they probably have a laundry list of why the Wings were lucky to win it all of at least 100 items, whether they are legitimate or not. It's a stupid ridiculous argument. Every team is going to get lucky every now and again to win a championship, in any sport. Happens in every league. Good teams both get lucky sometimes and make their own breaks from luck. Like these championships are tainted or aren't good enough because a team wasn't "fully good" or whatever. Give me a fricken break.

Tomas Kopecky and Ville Leino read these boards every day, and they personally told me they both laugh at each and every one of you, and will kick your butts and destroy you in a Boggle tournament.

You can pretty much spin any championship in any sport saying a team is lucky in some way/shape/form to try to justify an argument. Sometimes you need to get lucky. Sometimes you make your own luck. And more often than not, good teams both capitalize on lucky breaks and make their own breaks as well. Shouldn't take away or taint Chicago's championship like you are trying to perceive it to be.

As has been already stated and as will probably be stated to you plenty in future posts...Leino played himself out of here with lack of production, etc., whether it was "fair" or not. Kopecky probably would still have a hard time getting top-line minutes still. More power to them for doing better elsewhere but they still probably wouldn't get much time here. On a side note, it's another blueadams line combo thread, so do the following below... :beerbuddy: :chug:

I highly doubt anybody is pissed off at Blackhawk fans for doing this. Celebrate how you want as long as you aren't hurting anybody or whatever for all I care. I just find it a bit cute, and a bit sad, that they are giving so much attention to Detroit or the Red Wings regardless of if it is drunk stupid people or sober aware people. Your favorite team just won a championship, shouldn't the focus should be about your favorite team, and not another team or a rival?

Well then that's your problem. He's one of the most hated guys in the league so people are going to hate on him no matter how much he's a "nice guy" off the ice. He was well hated by plenty of people well before Adam Burish said this.

While labeling an entire fan base of any city from the idiocy of a select few is rarely accurate and pretty stupid...this is pretty sad that they are focusing so much on another team. Fun is fun but this is pretty pitiful.

I rarely get bored with stuff in general because I'm always busy with work or other stuff at home or personally. Sports wise at least, thankfully I have a temporary delay for yapping about wanting September and October to come for football and hockey again - I'll tune in a good bit to the World Cup presently and my alma mater has a shot at making the College World Series so that's also going on presently as well. Free agency is cool, but I typically don't pay too much attention to it, just don't keep up with player personnel and the like all that well. But overall, while I don't get bored or have "withdrawals" since I'm always occupied with something at work or personally pretty much, I do not like summer as there is barely jack squat to watch after NHL/NBA playoffs and Wimbeldon. Kudos if you do like baseball and the like, but that's just not my cup of tea really.
