I love the idea of buying homer a recliner. Not that he couldn't afford to buy 10 of em, but the idea that we can show him how grateful us Wings fans our for his time in the D. Man I wish I lived in Detroit..I live in the U.P. so I don't get down there very often. I have all kinds of signed Lions gear cause I go to alot of games but I want to get Wings season tickets when I graduate next December.

It's entirely possible. The thing is, the players take themselves out of the play almost completely unless they have Helm like speed to recover. I keep seeing this guys flop every time a stick is around their feet in hopes of a call but it hasn't happened yet. I was watching the game with one of my roommates who isn't familiar with hockey and he asked me, "isn't there a penalty for flopping like Vladie Divac?"

I have to believe Franzen will sit Tuesday..Miller and Mike both in the lineup? Time will tell but it wouldn't shock me.

I worried about Jimmy..Hes been playing outside his mind and I am glad I am wrong. Lets hope he plays like this on a regular basis for a few years. Wings would be very tough too beat if that were the case.

I am a Semin fan but I don't see it happening. Creative idea though Blue. I personally want to see Ville Leino return to Detroit. I believe if he a UFA...S. Weber would be nice but doubt we give up the picks to land him and I gotta believe Nashville would match.

I have always wondered how this works in hockey..does this mean we still own his rights and he eventually will come back to Detroits organization or is he gone? Can somebody please clarify?

I am curious to see how SJ would respond to a game 5 loss..They have been notorious chokers for a few years so I wonder if the pressure of a potential historical comeback would be enough to hurt their play. Lets hope we get a chance to see.

I was kind of upset we didn't sneak in Kindl for game for against Pheonix..I thought that would have been a low risk time to get him a bit of experience. I hope something happens with Hudler in the offseason. He isn't worth what we are paying him...Going to Russia set him back IMO. Franzen isn't himself..I don't know how bad that ankle or leg is but its clearly hindering him. I wouldn't be completely shocked to see him sit and Mike or Miller dress instead.

We just have guys that keep getting caught 10 feet out of position and its costing us a goal each time....Come on fellas.

Why did we not play like this in the first two? At least we picked up the play.. Keep it up boys...!!!!

Why not believe? A few reasons I believe.... 1) Your never in trouble until you lose on home ice 2) We have played pretty poorly and have only lost buy a goal each game 3) Howard playing out of his mind 4) Sharks have played several overtime games during the playoffs and I believe if we can make this series last their fatigue will show. I just believe we have to many vets and to much experience to continue this crappy play and if it picks up to the level the Wings can/usually play at, we could definitely pull this out. It all starts with the next two games at home though. Lose one and I think its over for sure.

I used to do it in High School hockey practice, warm ups, and in some 3 on 3 tourneys. Never could do the between the legs one consistently though. I don't know about Squirts, but I know there are a few kids on most high school/ midget teams who can do this.
