My first post had nothing to do with the captain story but about cry baby Hawks fans yet you keep bringing it up. Perhaps you shouldn't have replied to my post with something not relevant when trying to dispute my claims of Hawk fans stupid behavior that I listen to on Chicago sports radio and my workplace everyday.

Look I am not defending the TB front office in particular but this s*** gets sensationalized "because it's the cup". I would bet you could find a hundred disgruntled fans in every franchise city who's specific ticket policies have screwed them over and they are mad at the team. The whole make fun of small markets because they are trying to rally their fanbase is getting old. Let them do their little stunts and the big ol' bad thin skinned Hawks fans don't need to get all salty over it. The captain article had nothing to do with the Hawks part of the story I was commenting on.

People need to drop this. It's obviously only box seats or whatever and there are still plenty of Hawks jerseys in the stands so its ignored or worked around. Hawks like to pretend they are the downtrodden underdogs and them against the world even when they are top team in league and favored to win. Their manufacturing of angst is getting about as old and ridiculous as Chelsea Dagger.

Will people stop bitching that our PP sucked because we weren't leading the league. We finished 2nd in PP even if we did drop off in second half. Its a season long stat (that they didn't carry forward into the playoffs), but goddam... if anyone who isn't the best at something all of a sudden sucks. This leagues has a lot of s***ty teams. Like 29 of them. Almost all arguments using the Wings having a bad PP as their evidence, pretty much fall flat if you take one second to look up what our PP % ranking was.

Can't tell if you are disagreeing or agreeing. But if you are disagreeing, the Hawk dropped off bench took a stride onto the ice, saw his guy wasn't allowed to get off ice because TB was entering zone, the same guy got back to the wall and hopped back over.

I posted his stats with no opinion really on if they meant he was good or bad before Hawks or average. But, he was out coached by Babs 2 years ago... and if making sure you have the right match ups at home and trying to do them on the road as best you can and putting your top two guys on the same line is what people are using to prove how he is best in the league. I just don't see it being above and beyond any other coach's strategy. Nothing innovative or new. He was handed a great group of guys but I don't see 5 or 6 other coach's not doing the same thing with the same guys the past 6 years. Unless maybe if Torts was coach. STL 7 out of 7 playoffs, fired 8th year for a poor start and risky of missing playoffs (they didn't). COL 2 out of 3 playoffs.

I love how he gets called a genius for putting Kane and Toews on same line. Um, that is what every coach does when back against the wall. Stack one super line. We all think Babs is genius when he put Dats and Z together, but really its not a surprise or a questionable move in anybody's eyes. Not sure why they act like he is out thinking the other coach. The other coach would have to have an IQ of 10 to not know to prepare for a super line move.

Oh and to add. The Hawks shoulda lost round 1 if Weber doesn't tear up his knee. Darling in goal? Gimme a f'n break. And then Wild do dirty work by beating Blues. I felt Blues woulda been all over them just like the Ducks beating them to a pulp but still with enough offense to win.

So f'n lucky. Ducks have incredible offensive pressure and then Hawks get one possession in zone and score. Speaking about the cap stuff when Darling was playin so well they were talkin on radio how they would just get rid of Crow and Sharp and fix their cap issues.

They already had to break up team once after cup due to cap and had let Buff and some others go. Bickell stepped in an they won another cup.

Heard on radio that Mcdonagh was playing on broken foot almost entire playoffs.

I am impressed by TBs defense corps. Lot of big bodies. I think they could hold off the Hawks. And they still have offense even while playing solid D.

Only good thing about Bolts winning instead of Rags is seeing them score a buttload of goals on that poser Crawford. Other storyline would have been Hawks scorers vs King Henrik
