Eriksson is def the more complete player right now but seguin is also capable of being a star in this league.

Good to see the Wings apprehension on trading players wasn't an entire staff issue but just a Holland issue. Can't blame Nill for mixing that awful team up. Just awful but exactly the BS move I could see Holland making.

Yea regardless of how good Cleary was I'm one playoff run he does not help this team moving forward and is just extra cap on the team inhibiting us signing a young forward or bringing someone up. We need to get younger not get older.

If cleary is signed I don't know how anyone can defend Holland anymore. We are going to get crushed by many teams in the Eastern Conference.

A guy who can crash the net, hit, fight, protect his teammates, and score dirty goals.... Yea who needs him. -
I think we will continue to see Holland play it safe until the Wings start missing the playoffs and his job becomes threatened. It will be like Joe Dumars this year. He realizes he is close to on his way out so all of a sudden he starts mixing things up and exploring big trades and free agents. The wings are going to have to fall before Holland tries to pick them up.

The problem is the fans here see easy low risk fixes to help this team and there is nothing we can do about it. Signing players like Cleary (if he does get resigned) over throwing a little more money at a Clarkson or a Horton is the dumbest thing imaginable. That's where our frustrations lay. Easy decision that for some reason not being made.

Say what u will about Clarkson but if holland spends 3 million to keep Cleary and not go after a guy like Clarkson this site is going to go into full melt down mode. -
