On NBC before the Caps game

Anyone know what channel it will be broadcasted on for Directv? It isn't showing up on my guide for any NBC channels or NHL network. nevermind just saw its gonna be broadcasted on NBC just before the Caps game.

Read that Ottawa had over 2000 unsold tickets for game 1. That's pitiful. Especially for a Canadian market. Move them to Quebec City. Ottawa doesn't deserve a team. -

Scary thing is Pittsburgh doesn't have Letang, Hagelin, Murray and they have been scratching Streit. And I still think they are the odds on favorites to win it all. And that was painful to write trust me. On paper Washington should beat everyone in the league. I'm crossing my fingers they catch on fire. They are gonna need to. -
I don't know how people can be angry about anyone we draft in the top 10. The one thing the Wings have done consistently well is drafting. And that was with late first round picks. The two highest picks we have had in the last 20 years were the Dylan Larkin selection and Anthony Mantha. And I think both were great value where they were drafted. I trust that whoever they pick this year will be a good pick. They have always evaluated talent well.

Very impressed with the Oilers. Usually young teams take one on the chin and lay down. They just keep coming. Should be a fun series. -

I grew up in Detroit but now live in Bakersfield, CA where the Oilers AHL team plays. So I'm def pulling for them. It's fun watching Mcdavid with the playoff bright lights on him. -

I would love Tippett. I see him being a perrenial 30 goal scorer. Not the best defensively but he simply scores goals. Something the Wings lack desperately.

Yea the switching over to the other bracket is BS. They should reseed after each round. Washington shouldn't have to play Pitt in the 2nd round after winning the Presidents Trophy.

The Pens def have the mental edge on Washington with owning them in the past. I thought going into the playoffs this was washington's year to get past them. But Washington struggled at times in round 1 and Pittsburgh rolled past Columbus so it should be a great series. -

Yea they got their money's worth out of the cups for sure. And like I said, with Kane it's all about points with him. With Toews it's about points, face-offs, back-checking, penalty killing, leadership. So they can't get rid of him even if his price tag is high.
