Petry's litte back pass between his legs there should get him drawn and quartered. -

One disallowed goal, one post, and one missed open net and we're down 1-0. SMH -

I HATE when we get cute with our passing. Little half-assed backhand passes will kill this team. -

Imagine how satisfying it would be to see Gudas check Cousins into the twilight zone. -

Ya gotta let em know b'ys, ya gotta let me know! I love it when we get in their faces like that. The David Perron effect. Hard not to like Paul Maurice. -

They're good but we're winning puck battles and getting offensive zone time. I'm liking this period so far. One goal called back and another miss on a wide open net. -

Looking good to start this game, getting lots of good chances. Have I mentioned how much I love and respect Brock Nelson lately? -

Yeah, I thought I posted a link to it somewhere. Edvinsson is a really really strong dude. He's an absolute athletic freak. He's basically got size and skill like Byfuglien. One of those dudes that could genuinely end your career if he had a mind to do so. You absolutely have to play within the system now so you don't really see too many guys free wheeling like they used to do. Watch Colorado and you'll notice even Makar doesn't really play like he did a couple years ago because it generates too many chances the other way. Guys like Edvinsson and Seider have to model their games off Pronger basically. Be a stud defensively, make stops, and transition the puck out of the zone. That's all coaches care about. Your offense will come from increased offensive zone time. The days of Scott Niedermayer or Paul Coffey picking up the puck in the defensive zone and skating 200ft to score are gone, but Edvinsson absolutely has that kind of skill and athleticism. He's unreal. -
The teenager and the hooker? Or Twitter and Reddit?

Emmitt Finnie with 16 goals (51 points) in 53 games for the worst team in the WHL. Nate Danielson with 19 goals (52 points) in 44 games for two teams that are significantly better than Kamloops. Danielson got a pass for being on a bad Brandon team, but the Wheat Kings are 20 points ahead of Kamloops in the standings. Finnie is also 6'1, 190 and supposedly never stops moving his feet. Maximum effort sort of guy. I haven't seen him play but this guy might be putting himself on the map here. He's certainly on my radar. Could be another late blooming Lombardi, Mazur type pick.

I do. I traded my Twitter for Reddit when Elon took over. Reddit is so much more wild. Twitter is like a teenager with a potty mouth. Reddit is like a hooker with a secret p*nis.

Frank Vatrano and Radko Gudas are absolutely tea-bagging New Jersey tonight. Maybe we don't need Buchnevich. Maybe Frank and Radko is the play here. -
Not sure if you're a Deadwood fan, but there's a line in the show where Al the bartender (the main antagonist) says "as a base of operations, you cannot beat a saloon". I feel the same way about LGW. This is the safe place from whence I venture out into the internet to wreak havoc on the dignified gentry. Nothing that happens here happens in the real internet, this is like a pocket dimension. My real antics need practice. This is where I perfect my craft. This is home.

I've been waiting for it. I deserve it. I've been flying a little too close to the sun with my online antics the last couple days.

Radko Gudas just hip checked Jack Hughes while Happy Jack was dipsy doodling through the middle of the ice. Gudas let up and just put Hughes on his ass, but this is why I don't have a lot of faith in Jack. He's undeniably a talented offensively player but he plays the game like nobody should be allowed to touch him. In the playoffs Gudas finishes that check a whole lot harder and Hughes doesn't play the rest of the series. -
I missed tonight's GR game. Looks like Mazur had a hell of a game coming back from injury.

All credit goes to you. I definitely stole your idea.

To Det: Gudas To Ana: Holl, 2024 2nd, To Det: Pavel Buchnevich To Stl: Fabbri, 2025 1st, Wallinder/Johansson My deadline plan. Holl and Gudas have the same number of years on their contracts and similar AAV. Gudas is better so Anaheim gets the 2nd, but Detroit isn't in any worse a situation with Gudas as they would have been with Holl. Same premise with Buchnevich. Same term and not much additional AAV. STL gets the 1st because Buchnevich is a stud and we're getting him for next season too. And they get back a player that they like, that they can flip at next year's deadline to a contender. AND SY does right by Fabbri by sending a good locker room guy back to a team full of his buddies. I've been having a ton of fun talking about the Wings lately, particularly the last few days. I try to squeeze every last drop of dopamine out of my hobbies as I can.

I already have a career doing more important things. Talking s*** about hockey is how I unwind.

I'm a fan, not a sports journalist. That's why.

Not at all, I'm tickled to death. I love being smarter than you. It's chicken soup for my internet soul.

I'd imagine there are thousands of ways. I'm certainly less obnoxious. You pick.
