I cannot possible like this enough. I love this show alot. Particularly the lawyer, Charles Foster Ofdensen. He's my boy.
-
I'm glad we're winning and all, but GAWD are we sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!
-
Whatevs dude. I distinctly recall something about you wanting to feel the tickle of his sweet 'stache. Though perhaps not as much as you'd like to see the sheen of Pierre's head.
-
Yeah, he'll take to twitter to complain about Jimmy not "pumping his tires enough" like he did with Tim Thomas. Speaking of, didn't you used to have a thing for Timmy?
-
Man oh man, I just want Weiss to score, but not on some flukey bullsh*t. I want him to make an outstanding individual effort to score a goal. Get a little confidence back so that he'll start carrying the puck and making plays instead of passing it to hammer hands Cleary or old man Alfie the second he touches the puck.
-
I agree. But we almost never, ever, ever, have speed through the neutral zone.
-
Why the hell did Abby try to bank that in off Bobby Lou? He had all kinds of room to make a play there. If Tatar is in that position that puck goes top shelf.
-
I don't like Smith as much as the next fan, but if every guy that got mildly crosschecked dropped liked he'd been shot, hockey would look a lot like futbol. Ole!
-
If I had a nickel for ever time I've thought to myself...nevermind. LWG!
-
Make up call for the dive. Well that was still pretty terrible. We had basically no offensive zone time. Also, do we have any wingers at all who can score goals? I mean, it's kinda their job and all. At least we're only down by one. That's about all I've got to say.
-
Jeez, Smith almost killed him eh?
-
There was no stoppage in play before the goal. Last line change makes no difference when you're changing on the fly.
-
Ugh, why are the Sedins on against our 4th line?
-
Well you can't win em all. Mark this down along with that time Anna Kournikova totally made you look like a fool for not putting gum in her hair. There's still egg on your face for that one.
-
It would be really sweet if he'd grow the mullet back out for the occasion.
-
Are you both good looking women with loose morals and the uncanny ability to produce gourmet cheeses, smoked meats, and mustards upon demand? If not, then I'm out.
-
I'm not even sure what this means? So I'm going to guess for fun. Subban makes... one ugly foreigner look like another ugly foreigner. one guy not known for his work ethic look like another guy not known for his work ethic. a guy who doesn't play defense well look like a guy who doesn't play defense at all. a terrible actor look like a terrible dancer.

Chelios is a candy*ss. Watch him get demolished by some sissy nobody's ever heard of...
-
Well on the plus side, at least Babcock pulled his head out of his ass and decided not to play with the lines he's been using in practice all week. Then again, he'll probably switch it up if we're down a goal after the first.
-
Priceless, you've genuinely blossomed into my favorite poster around here. Keep up the good work.

If you cross reference team in the league who are in playoff contention, with those that are middle of the pack in goal scoring, and who have a lot of cap space you're left with a handful of teams that COULD be willing to take a gamble on Sammy. Especially considering his salary will be prorated so they'll end up paying him less than his 3 million. Among these teams are Nashville, Ottawa, and Calgary. If you add in teams with significant injury troubles (admittedly I haven't looked for these) you've got another factor. Power play troubles...another. Overall young team...another. I'm not saying that he'll definitely get picked up. But to say he has no value is more a commentary on your feelings about Sammy, and less about his potential worth. Particularly in a league which saw the New York Islander's trade for Tim Thomas specifically so he WOULDN'T play hockey. Value is relative to each specific club, and there are 29 others besides the Detroit Red Wings.
-
Why?
-
No. If he had a no movement clause he couldn't be waived. As is, he's got a no trade, which has nothing to do with waivers.
-
You don't have to leave a guy in the minors if he clears waivers. Remember prior to the first game? Emmerton was waived and cleared, and then immediately brought back up to the big club for opening night. Waive Sammy, if he clears great, if he doesn't put him right back on the Wing's roster and it will be like nothing had changed. No harm, no foul.
