Edit: I know this isn't the right place to put this but here goes anyway: The thing that drives me insane about carrying three goalies is that because Husso and Lyon got hurt it's going to justify in the minds of management that it was a good idea to have two goalies sitting on the bench every night and not roster players. Like, they'll gloss over the fact that all three goalies suck and so the difference between two s***ty goalies and 5 or 10 or whatever is a difference of quantity and not quality. They'll also point to our top of league offense and conclude that we didn't need the roster spot (Berggren) without acknowledging that by this rationale we also didn't need it on Kane either, or an 8th defenseman that didn't completely suck.

His hearing was yesterday from what I understand, they just haven't announced the outcome. How big of a legend would David Perron be if he successfully appealed his suspension, got it reduced, and then cross checked a guy in the teeth in his first game back for hitting Larkin dirty?

Nice to see the Wings have Czarnik in the lineup tonight instead of Berggren. Who needs goals when you can have...nothing? Great roster decision.

I'm all for that assuming SY can keep the cap number reasonable, keeping in mind we've got to give Seider and Raymond and Veleno significant raises as well. Ghost in particular has been huge for us this season and I'd love to see him inked to a 3 year deal.

I think this is the game where we finally start to right the ship. Been a tough go lately but it happens to the best teams too. But we've gotta get some points back in the bank and here's where it starts. Our physicality should be hard for Anaheim to handle given that they're a team of young guys and skill players. Look for a big game from our bottom six. I like Fabbri for a goal and two assists tonight. LGW!!!

Seems easy enough. Trouble is, he's not even the best goalie in GR right now so that's sub optimal. We are about to get the absolute guts ripped out of our season if we don't start scoring some goals right now. If ever there was a time to win the proverbial "6-5" game this would be it. I'd obviously prefer we trade for someone, but with half the league needing goaltenders anybody who's got an extra one is probably smart to hang on to them and let the bidding war drive prices up. Anybody seen Magnus Hellberg around the waiver wire lately?

What else do you do but go with Reimer and Hutchinson and start looking for a trade?
