One step above asexual is same-sexual. Everyone knows that. Especially your boy. Wait...you thought his "just the tip" tshirt was a promise? Lol. It was a request bud.

Even if I only banged one chick in my life pal. Your boy's 1 step above a eunuch.
  3. If anything Larkin is probably happy to have that candyass off his line. I doubt he was too thrilled going into battle each night flanked by a dude who's afraid of needles and spends 75% of the season in the trainers' room. Edit: Sweet goal by Jake the Snake. Walman = ALL MAN

Which means I f*ck 100% more women than Bert does.
  5. He said the same thing about Mantha. Who cares?

It's ironic because Bertuzzi was definitely the g*yest member of this team. You'd think I'd be more into him.
  7. I've heard Vancouver fans are really unimpressed with that Filip Hronek guy. Maybe he's available?

  9. Siiiiiiick assist by Zadina to Berggren. The future is now.

I'm happy to see Bertuzzi gone for no other reason than because (next to Sundqvist) he was the least f*ckable part of an immensely f*ckable team. Nothing (aside from his play this season) made my dick softer than his weird buggy eyes and stringy meth hair.
  11. Where's all the Chia pets tonight? Wings defense saying "Hronek Hwho?".

C'mon Yzerman, trade Zadina already. I will be overjoyed when I never have to hear that name again.

In theory yes, but obviously there are tons of variables. The teams, the value of Detroit's picks, what we're willing to add. I'm using our two first rounders as a starting point. Obviously if it's a team that's just starting their rebuild (and therefore expecting to be bad for a while) having a bunch of high value picks might be worthwhile. It's hard to do, and rare, but we've got the picks to do it now.

I'd be okay with that in the case of the Boston pick, but I'd rather we use the Islanders pick to move up and get a top center this year. If we can move up and take Carlsson or Fantilli and then pick three times in the 2nd round this could be the draft that essentially ends the rebuild. Dude. This is getting ridiculous haha.

I haven't read that, but that's typically how it works. Teams typically can't just keep punting on conditions forever. The Islanders' pick is top 12 protected and it works exactly like that.

It's top 10 protected. And while I expect Boston to be worse next year, there's no way they're going to be bad enough to fall into the top ten. It's a really good pick. It'll probably land in the low 20s, unless Bergeron and Krejci retire and Pastrnak walks in free agency.

I hate the delayed gratification as much as anyone, but this is actually a pretty good deal. Bertuzzi's trade value is pretty low and there's a really really good chance Boston is much worse a year from now considering the makeup of their team. I hate to see those two guys go, they're both really good players. But we're picking FIVE times in the first two rounds (this season). That's HUGE. We now have the assets to move up and land a real difference maker at the top of the draft.

I don't see that. We can beat any offer Ottawa makes, and they already have Chabot and Sanderson on the left side of their defense. Makes no sense for them. Buffalo too with Power and Samuelsson. And since Arizona has said they're not willing to take back salary there aren't too many other teams that A) have the cap space, and B) have the picks to acquire him.

Gotta think another move is coming, next to center RHD is probably the biggest organizational weakness we have. I don't see SY moving a righty with term (who is also an RFA when his contract expires) for the heck of it. Especially considering how bad our defense already is.

You and I aren't going to agree much on this point. I do agree that we were physically dominated by Ottawa, and power forward types would help, but it's not like that's been a problem all season. This is the first time we've seen a team employ that strategy. You know what HAS been a problem all season? Scoring. Even strength, powerplay, all of it. Four of our top six forwards last night have a combined 21 even strength goals on the season. Add Larkin and Rayond and you have FORTY TWO even strength goals. Our entire top six only has 10 more goals than Mikko Rantanen for f*cks sake. Half the offensive players we do have (Kubalik, Vrana, Berggren) get thrown on bottom lines with pud linemates and zero icetime. We have ONE offensively gifted center in the whole organization. But at least there's the powerplay right? Nope. We had EIGHT powerplay opportunities last night and didn't score on a single one of them. EIGHT. Try to goon it up like that against Tampa or Boston or Toronto or Edmonton or Carolina...or Ottawa...and you're going to get caved. It's easy to say, "they pushed us around" and it's hard to argue against. But if that game was 4-1 Detroit at the end of the first period instead of 4-1 Ottawa I guarantee they'd have cut that sh*t out in a hurry. At the beginning of the season we were expecting roughly 30+ goals each from Bert, Larkin, Vrana, and maybe Raymond, with another 15-20 from Copp, Perron, and Kubalik. Anything that Ras, Zadina, Suter, Berggren, Sodorblom, etc. added would have been gravy. Instead our entire forward group (defense has scored better than anticipated) have regressed under Lalonde. Every single one of them. That's an issue. Agreed, I'm not saying I hate it. Just that I'm confused by it. Best case scenario RIGHT NOW he's another Cross Hanas. I sure hope so.
