I don't disagree with any of this. Virtanen won't be a Red Wing. Some team will pick him up though, if he is even on the trade block. It may work out. It may not. I just think it would be worth the gamble, assuming the cost is relatively low...

I'd take a gamble on him depending on the cost. Helm and a pick? In a heartbeat. Anything more, probably not.

Not a huge issue for me. I only have to use a VPN for 4 or 5 games a season and takes less than 5 minutes to set up. Wouldn't make much sense for a Habs or Sens fan on the East Coast or Wings fan in Michigan though...

I would, yup. This team NEEDS more right-handed threats up front. This is just dumb. Not only Virtanen a better player than Helm, he's nearly 10 years younger. I'd trade Helm and a pick for Virtanen.

Yeah, this is the blackout restrictions for us up North... I have no idea why it's like it, but it's annoying as s***. We pay for the service, we should have access to watch every single game...

It's cool when we get to watch the dumba** announcers call the play, rather than watch the game play... I'm not sure why this AHL style broadcasting bothers me so much for a preseason game, but it really does... -
Haha you can always change the notifications, so that you get the one for start of game or periods or whatever, and not get the ones for goals... Also, one thing that I forgot to mention, the best thing about NHL.tv, every game you can pick between home and away feeds, so every game is Ken and Mick.

I can rarely watch games live on Sunday, Monday and Thursday nights so this is definitely an advantage for me. I'm almost always an hour or more behind (try not to check the score)... Which is why I'm rarely involved in GDT's...

Daley / Ericsson should be gone. Zero reason to re-sign two of the worst defensemen in the league. Especially with such a logjam as it is. Green, I wouldn't be too upset if we re-signed him to another short contract, but would prefer to go a different direction (youth). Howard, should probably be re-signed again for another season or two, unless a better / younger stop gap is available.
