    Keep dreamin' Larkin is having a down season, and will still crack 60 points. All while becoming a more well rounded player. His defensive game has been much improved, despite the bulls*** the OP is spewing. Also, you know who else was a "sub-60 point center" at the age of 23? Henrik Zetterberg. Larkin is still young as f***. He probably won't ever be an elite center, but he will absolutely be a quality 1C for many years. He will also be the next Red Wings captain. Mark it!

    I don't "know" that Blashill is going to be back, any more than I "know" that Mantha will stay healthy enough next season to score 30+, or that the Wings will win the draft lottery. Blashill *might* be back next season. Wouldn't surprise me either way. Mantha will *likely* score 30+ next season, if he can stat healthy. We aren't likely to win the draft lottery, but maybe...

    Athanasiou would be more valuable as the team adds talent / improves, but Fabbri will be less valuable as the team adds talent improves... Yeah, okay... If Athanasiou re-signed, and plays a full season on McDavid's wing, he could possibly hit 40 goals. So what? He wasn't going to get that same opportunity here, and for good reason. Kuffner is a borderline AHL player...
