erhoff is more proven than niskanen. even at his age, he has a good 5 years of good productivity left. But if anything, erhoff being put on the market should lower the cost of obtaining a top 4 dman not sure how the waiver rules work but according to tsn he is now an unrestricted free agent

if the wings were still in the west, i would agree with you. but the eastern conference is terrible so i think anything's possible but they're going to need datsyuk to at least play as well as he did in the olympics to have a shot

I don't think smith was that bad. He had a couple bad shifts early in the game but he settled down and contributed nicely to the offense Mantha and jarnkrok are definetly not nhl ready. Once again Tatar proves he is more than nhl ready

are you sure that nhl network is showing it. On nhl.com they show the boston-montreal game being shown live on nhl network at the same time as the wings game is going on. for the wings-pens game they only list wpcw as network. i know that they will be showing a replay of the wings game later this week if that's what you are referring to
