    As much as I want to see the Kings win for their franchise and so we can get Parise, I don't think I can handle the bandwagon Kings fans and instant hockey fans that will come with them winning. I live two hours out of LA, and hockey is completely overshadowed by basketball and football. I guess it can't be avoided now though; bring on the douchey bandwagoners. Edit: The Parise comment is me hoping.

    If we don't sign Suter or some other big name defense man, then I feel like we will be in trouble. Not that anyone can replace Lidstrom anyway, but it would be nice to see a top guy like Suter step up. P.S. Don't retire Nick; we all love you too much. Edit: Am I the only one tearing up watching some of Nick's highlights and thinking about his retirement?

    Anyone see the intermission report? It showed Jordan Nolan's name at the bottom with his stats and then it showed Crosby's face like for Nolan. Hahahah. Just can't keep Crosby off of their minds.

    I think the Kings have a great shot at the cup this year. Seem to have all kinds of offense in the playoffs, and Quick is outstanding.

    This is about Jiri Hudler on the Detroit Red Wings right? The Hudler I remember seeing won probably 15% of his board battles, and he was the recipient of perfect plays by Fil and Z.

    Haven't really watched much of Parise previously, but holy crap. He is an amazing player. I will be so happy if we get him, but unfortunately I'm doubtful.

    Yes, I believe you have to pay 25 games in a season in order to remove rookie season tag. Ah, okay thanks. Wasn't sure, so that means Smith can win the Calder next year!

    Probably not the place to ask this, but I'm not sure where else to put it. If a player plays for only a few games, say under 15, such as Nyquist or Smith, is that considered their rookie year? (Not sure if Nyquist played more than 15, but I'm pretty confident Smith didn't) Edit: Plays in their first season.

    I'm sort of afraid for Phoenix. If Weber had virtually no punishment for what he did to Z, imagine what he will do/get away with if they lose the series.

    I think the Bertuzzi signing was extremely stupid. I like Bertuzzi and am not one to bash him, but he brings nothing to this team besides crafty shootout victories. He had zero points in the playoffs and was minus 5. Also, if it were possible I would really enjoy seeing Franzen leave this team, just can't stand him anymore.

    These teams are scoring on EVERY SINGLE scoring chance they get. Would say Wings need to take a page out of their book, but the sole purpose of all these goals is because of extremely inferior goaltending/defense, but mostly goaltending so far.

    Well I'm glad that Franzen stepped it up to his playoff level.......................all he did was stand by the net while a puck went in off of his leg. This guy is terrible wish we had Hossa.

    Haha I really don't think Howard could have been any more pathetic in this game. My God absolutely no way we can win with goaltending like that. Way to go Wings, as if this game wasn't important. Should've played it like a game 7. Now the Preds will go back home and end this series easily.

    That goal was not all Howard, but you can't help but wish he could perform at the same level of Rinne completely out of position on that one. Just can't steal a game for Detroit obviously. Edit: Howard is definitely off of his game can't believe it.
