    Is this a coaching problem? The players have not been ready to play the last few games. From what I see, the defence, especially DD, is horrid. This is a passionless group of players. Tatar and Nyquist have been the greatest disappointments this year and can be specifically pinpointed to the Wings downfall.

    Giveaways- Detroit 13. Toronto 2. Any doubts why this team has trouble winning? I agree that the power play coach needs to be dismissed immediately.

    So far the wings have 8 turnovers compared to Toronto's 1. The Leafs are playing kids that just got together. The wings have been together all year and they still cough up the puck with irreverant regularity.

    I haven't seen the last 2 games. My thoughts - where did this team come from? All year we have been waiting for this. I can't explain it but keep it going.

    Wings, when on a pp, never seem to win the first face off. Wings may as well start the pp in their own zone.

    As for the pp, wasn't Blashill the pp coach when Babs was here? If I'm correct, wasn't that pp terrible as well? I don't want to be harsh on Blashill because Babcock couldn't get these guys to play either. There needs to be a shakeup and someone good has to go so the wings can get someone good. Right now, with the exception of Larkin, everybody is available.

    Sorry to say but this is a poorly coached team. The players are always on the boards. Usually, the passes are mishandled. The players, too often, are outworked. The other teams are getting good shots. This system, imo, stunts the abilities to be successful. There are no shooting opportunities in close. For whatever reason, no one seems to be able to get a rebound. (Not that there are that many).

    This loss can be chalked up to poor coaching. This system has little chance of producing more than 3 goals. Obviously Adam Oates had little to say or what he said was completely ignored. Blash better get his head out of his a***.

    The wings pp is disgusting. Too bad Blash doesn't want to hurt his assistant coach's feelings. I'm surprised that the wings have scored any pp goals. The system is crap.

    I really thought, at the beginning of the season, Jimmynwould be traded. There were so many teams needing a goalie. The wings could have really picked up a sniper with Howard. If Jimmy gets pounded tonight, this will be the finishing nail on his time with Detroit. I hope he does ok but would not be surprised if he gets shellacked.

    Can't believe how badly Kronwall, Eri.ccson and Z are playing. Z is skating with cinder blocks. Kronwall has been beaten easily by the Devils forwards. Ericcson doesn't know that he has a body to check with.

    Every time this team tries to play a defensive shell game in the latter part of the game, all hell breaks loose. The horses are not there for them to play this way.

    It is painfully obvious that there is no offensive system. This is why Oates is here. Blash has no clue in how to get this team to play. Bans couldn't get them to play either, the last few years. This is why some of the players need to because they are too comfortable.
