Had totally forgotten about Ferraro when I made the lineup I'd like to see if larkin sticks around and produces when pavel returns Can't recall having this many forwards before ... I personally wanna see Franzen on the 4th line with some ppl opportunities , having him and his shot against other teams bottom pairs/lines will only help our team and have a guy on a 4th with 15-20 goals if healthy Jurco and pulkkinen are young with lots of skill and need to play lots of minutes Jurco sheahan pulkkinen line could be one of the best 3rd lines in the league .... Now if datsyuk returns and larkin sticks around than richards and jurco would each drop down a line Right now I'd personally get rid of cleary Andersson and probably miller We have Ferraro/glendening/helm/Franzen/jurco on the 4th line as possible options with a healthy lineup and larking staying and Callahan and nosek etc.. In Grand Rapids Sorry for rambling on guys. .... Anyways Before the deadline I see cleary/Andersson going ... We gave cleary his contract but there's no room for him

I'd take the best defensemen period The fact that jensen is right handed is just an added bonus and helps us balance the d ... What's the limit of games larkin would have to play this year to take himself out of the Calder running next season? I know most people will say vs eichel and mcdavid he has no chance of winning the Calder but selfishly i want him to be in contention when he plays and not play say 25 games this year and go back down and if he's a full wing next year not be able to have a shot at the Calder I suspect he will start in detroit and wouldn't surprise me if he produces I wouldn't mind either way though if he stayed or went down to Grand Rapids .... At the very least we could get him for a playoff push ... Our kids would most likely be better than anyone we can get at the deadline

I know it's just one pre season game but maybe we should make some way for some people instead of always letting them stay in Grand Rapids forever? Brendan smith has some speed and tools to help offensively but seems things never get better and he keeps turning the puck over ... Just checked he's 26 , he's not getting any younger or much better at this point Jensen is rid up there in age with smith, 25 and never got a shot + he's the right handed dman we always wanted , let's not keep him down cause we got mike green now I know we won't get rid of smith/kindl before letting them play some games under Blashill but for me personally there's nothing to see ... Ship out those 2 and replace them with 2 of jensen/ouellet/marchenko and rotate games between the 2 of them and maybe a Quincey and when injuries no doubt occur so they both end up with at least 40-55 games Kids need to get some games in , don't want to start a season with 3-5 rookies in the lineup ... Same thing with the group upfront
