Nope 2 players does not bring you a cup and we did lose lidstrom and Rafalski but it's not like he had god awful teams to work with ... And yes your right hank and pav would say that as well as Scotty bowman also playing a part .... But if Blashill came in and coached for 10yrs wouldn't athanasiou and the next wave of players say the same thing? It's normal to say that when you've had the same coach for 10 yrs The way i see it with the blues and pens are ... The blues have never been able to get a real number 1 goalie so that's why they haven't been able to do anything ... And Pittsburgh keeps trading away picks and prospects to get basically role players to play with malkin and Crosby It's my personal opinion and the fact is we'll never know cause we can't go back in time and put a new coach and see how things would go in a different scenario but I do think we would of won gold ... And I just noticed we both dont have Franzen , although his future is uncertain Looking above I could totally see us trading nyquist in a trade for a top dman and we'd still be ok upfront and still have youth

Bertuzzi comes through again this kids gonna be a great addition and more importantly looks like someone who will rise to the occasion and a playoff performer

We don't need any goalies to be drafted this year Got mrazek ... McCollum who I had completely written off has rebounded this year and I can see him as a backup in 2 yrs and jake patterson will start his ahl career most likely next season
