Did you consider that maybe franson has more pts cause the leafs defense sucks so he gets a lot of playing time? Power play time? Who else are the leafs gonna put?reilly is just a kid , gardiner is over hyped ... Dion isn't good offensively .. I'm sure if we checked franson's pts came mostly on the ppl and with the kessel line when they were actually scoring If he was so good why isn't the leafs willing to give him 5-5.5 a year for 5-6 years? Hes playing on the 3rd line like you mentioned with matt Cullen and Gabriel bourque , don't think he's gonna get big numbers with those linemates .... He's still 23 I find it funny how holland is now saying he paid a heavy price considering when the trade happened he was basically trying to convince everyone jarnkrok was worthless

If marchenko can be claimed next season then I'm sure an ahl all star defensemen at 22-23 yrs of age will be claimed by a team like Edmonton I'd love to see him play a few games now and see what he can do , same as jensen but if these kids are gonna be lost through waivers for nothing I'd rather use them In a trade

I've wondered before if axelsson and ryno would of been nhlers if they would of played some time in the ahl, guess it's not like it use to be back in the day , some Europeans are just as happy being home and surrounded by there family and friends (can't imagine it being easy leaving, thus many returning when there nhl careers are done) That being said in the khl it's worse because a lot of players can make more money there than here ... Out of those guys you mentioned jurco is the only one I would consider trading in a package depending the player we get The other 4 I'd just hang up the phone , and for others saying we got howard he's our number 1 ... I think mrazek will be a star goalie and even if some of you think he's tradeable , if howard gets hurt and we traded mrazek were as good as done cause we got nothing else in our system (monster isn't reliable and always gets injured)

Perron isn't worth a 1st round pick , my opinion is up you trade a first in a blockbuster deal for someone of impact , perron is a good player and He'll probably get 20 goals playing with those punks (Crosby,malkin)but doesn't mean he's worth a first Pens probably didn't wanna risk getting into a bidding war

Holmstrom was playing with nylander ... Looked good , we might have another good prospect in our hands
