i just checked ... emmertons salary is 533k ... callahan is 566k , we cant afford 30gs on our current cap????? id ratcher much have callahan for 2-3 games than emmerton, he's not a star forward but he's an agitator who can also fight and hit and as of recently in the ahl where hes been scoring im sure he'd pop the odd goal in the nhl ... time to see the kids

i agree with you but maybe some cup contenders will want some of our scraps for there 4th line for the cup run? eaves isnt here but i still think hes an nhl player and can play on a 4th line (i know he didnt get claimed , but maybe someone will want him later on?).... colorado and edmonton need some help on d if were smart wed get rid of quincey and bring up almquist for the 2nd ppl unit , ive seriously had enough of watching samuelsson on the point , i cant wait to get rid of him for good

he's been given powerplay opportunities and still done nothing ... hes suppose to be a playmaker but has 2 assists , a good playmaker makes players around them better , you think if kunitz is getting 30+ goals on his own?? maybe weiss just is not this good playmaker people seem to think he is , i havent seen it yet

i dont wanna be handcuffed with gustavsson when mrazek is almost ready ..hes so young so i dont know if he would be better off with another year in the ahl or starting like 25 games as a backup and maybe taking over the next year ( i personally think mrazek is our future number 1 and gonna be an elite #1)

its easy to boost anyones stats with (on pace pts) facts are those are his stats, its not easy for a player to play all 82 games 70+ is good enough for me .... as for weiss i just think he might be a player whos not suited for big market teams , maybe somewhere like edmonton/phoenix/colorado would be a better fit for him i personally think the kids are the wings future and possibly jarnkrok or janmark will be our 2nd line center in 2-3 yrs and not weiss. he'd better turn it around soon or we might be screwed longterm or have no choice for a buyout at seasons end(if he ends up with under 20 pts we might have no choice)

2 times in 10 seasons with florida he got 60+ pts ... its nothing to brag about .. and i doubt he was injured for most of his time there
