id trade down for more picks theres alot of players im really interested in this year and alot of big power forward types, something like montreals 26 and 34 interest me and then even there if we could ship off the 26th to like sj for 48 and 49 id do it and end up with something like 34 48 49 50 (yes i know it wont happen but id do something like that ) fasching sanford bailey dauphin mccoshen pesce poirier hayden are all guys who interest me who should be available in the 2nd round ... wish we had more picks that being said im high on valentin zykov and would love to nab him

i heard carolina is willing to give up the #5 pick for a top 4 dman i would give up smith or quincey(if they wanted him and could extend him only) and more to get that pick if nichushkin is available . id love to see him next to datsyuk next year and since ference is not gonna be resigned maybe we can go after him as a 5-6dman depending the price

first off i like drew miller i think hes a good penalty killer and plays hard but 1.3 million cap hit for a 12-13th forward is alot of money in my opinion and now i keep reading how we got 14 forwards signed and were still negotiating with filppula,cleary and brunner? july 5th is coming up and players will be bought out and traded and thats why i think bringing back a depth player at 1.3 million was a mistake that being said id have to think were gonna get rid of 2-5 forwards depending if we resign any of our ufa's and make a trade or sign someone who's the targets? samuelsson,bertuzzi,tootoo,emmerton and eaves?(though i want eaves to stay) theres talk of buyouts but does anyone think a team would trade for any of bertuzzi sammy or tootoo? off the forwards for a second what about coliacovo? heard buyout talk about him but i find it hard to believe not one team would take a chance on him for one year anyways what do you guys expect to happen this week?

i think theres a reason howard put some kind of out clause in his contract in about 2 years i believe mrazek's coming hard for that #1 and only time will tell but i think mrazek will be our future #1

theres gonna be desperate teams out there looking to shed salary and alot of buyouts theres gonna be good options and zero reason why we should give up on a tatar or nyquist or any top prospect nobody is gonna get rid of a bonafide star and im over getting someone like yandle i like the 6 d unit we got now with dekeyser coming and our defensive prospects in the farm unless its a ufa we dont touch our guys

i got it to work and i watched some of the 2nd ... man what an awful feed lol they want people to spend like 2-300 dollars for ahl hockey and thats the feeds for the game? jesus ... so bad with all these useless channels out they should come up with a channel where they show junior hockey from canada and ncaa games as well as ahl so we dont have to watch hockey online with these awful shots

i did all that and even installed the silverlight garbage they asked me to install in order to watch and nothing works ... i give up , dont know why they dont just have a link where people can watch and just click play ... ugh lol

you think its just gonna cost us 2 1sts and nyquist for malkin???? more like nyquist smith mrazek and jarnkrok or jurco and then malkins cap number will be 9ish and future free agents will want more money because malkins is so high , detroits always been about taking less money and spreading it to other players so we can have a competitive team, after datsyuk the highest cap number is zetterberg's 6 we add malkin it can throw everything off ... no thanks we'll be better off in the long run

i know iginla isnt as fast but what about him?? only if he'd be willing to consider being a 3rd liner on detroit on a one year max 2 year deal at a reasonable price? he still had 12 pts in 15 playoff games and im thinking maybe a line of tatar helm iginla could be good? tatar and helm will cause chaos with their speed and iginla with some finish? anyways probably a bad idea just thought of it since iginla and morrow are likely done in pittsburgh ... clarkson is still the 1st ufa choice
