i just think white is highly overrated and not that good , lidstrom just made him look better than he was and i can see alot of people complaining about him this season , hes been with 5 teams last 3 seasons ... theres a reason for that

obviously getting our players back especially datsyuk will help the team but i think nyquist could be that extra something that could help us do some magic but only and only if he gets legit ice time and linemates Heres my thinking ... the zetterberg filppula hudler line is untouchable , i think nyquist at least for 5-6 games (depending when datsyuk returns) should be given a shot with datsyuk and franzen and see what happens i think that could be an incredible line ... not checking positions now but a bertuzzi helm mursak line sounds good just for helm and mursaks speed and playing together could cause problems , cleary abdelkader holmstrom 4th sounds good ... didnt even think of drew miller whos definetly got a spot in the lineup anyways i just think nyquist should remain here .... thoughts???

wow this is been a pathetic run for the wings of late and its gonna cost us a nashville 1st round matchup ,last team i wanted to face first round ... should be a quick playoffs this year unless these guys wake up bigtime

why are some people hating on franzen?? if he plays a full season hes a 30 goal guy , look around the league and theres not to many 30+ goal scorers these days.... and more importantly he shows up in the playoffs when it counts hudler after last season , i was willing to get rid of him has come back this year and is on pace for like 25 goals , id say keep him but im sure he will get bigger money offers from some team , probably 4+ a season , its time to let him go and bring up nyquist and others which is why for the life of me i cant understand why the wings resigned bertuzzi , we need to get some of the kids to come up and play with some veterans while they are still here so they can learn cleary's been hurt so im gonna take it easy on him i think he has alot more to offer than hes been giving us this season , that being said considering his salary he'd be number 1 guy id trade if we needed cap room on a different note id love it if we made an exception and gave dick axelsson a shot next year , at least a 10 game trial and a real shot not put him on the 4th line, hes got all the offensive tools to be a real point producer and goal scorer, his defensive play isnt great but i think he could learn from z and others franzen datsyuk nyquist filppula zetterberg axelsson .. top 6 next year ... tatar and andersson will be up in 2013-2014 , we gotta start blending in the kids

i just think he's too good to not give a real shot in the top 6 and lets face it datsyuk makes everyone better and i just think theres something potentially there that can be really special in that line , nyquist is also getting use to franzen now these last 3 games so that'll help its unfortunate he cant just be used for the powerplay and not waste a forward spot cause hes still the best at his job on the ppl even though we cant score now if our lives depended on it
