Zero need to trade AA if we land a 2nd with some bulls*** final 4= 1st type bs and a teams 7th prospect hard pass man , hold on to him and deal him next deadline get rid of guys like helm/glendening to create roster spots for kids ... id be more dissapointed if i dont see helm/glendening/nemeth etc... moved we seen guys with an extra year tearm get good deals , if someone offeres a 2nd+ for nemeth send him packing , we’ll worry about next season in the off season

Well we’re a rebuilding team so those firsts are valuable for a team in our situation and i know everyone loves fabbri but i think when we turn stuff around he wont be here and if so he’ll be a 3rd line guy and glendening likely will be gone ... anyways point is we had to make it difficult to make boston say no to the trade , im not super sold on kase so thats also why i think we could have made it work anyways none of us will ever know what stevie offered so its just speculation at this point and all pointless Youll be one of the first ones to bust his balls lol

Theres alot of talk here of him going to colorado ...price being mentioned as well and seeing how joe sakic benefitted from the roy trade i have a gut feeling a blockbuster trade involving price and tatar to colorado is coming up

No chance colorado gives up newhook in that package , id definetly send them fabbri and ebrnier for a first timmins and use AA for another good return if possible

Haven’t seen one yet on the fourthperiod site and with hall gone was thinking where AA might be on teams desired lists Forwards 1 - Pageau 2 - kreider 3- Toffoli 4 - Athanasiou 5 - Galchenyuk 6 - Simmonds 7 - Fast Maybe hoffman becomes available at some point and some players with term like glendening but with the weak ufa class id say thats pretty much it ? Well first for sure if andrei asked for it to happen i think they would ... doesnt seem they are that into gauthier from what i read ... and from what i checked they seem pretty similar besides yes gauthier having better offensive numbers this season both picked in same range in the draft pretty much but one year apart(think svechnikovs draft was better) pretty much same size ... just think if both teams decide it wont work with both guys it could be a type of move we see if svechnikov gets dealt ... id like to see him with the likes of larkin/mantha/bert/zadina/aa by seasons end for 10-15 games first though

@krsmith17 just read the athletic article on the top prospects available and they said gauthier would have to go through waivers and how me might not crack the lineup ... doesnt look like hes a good two way guy and id rather much target bokk somehow if possible but i do think a gauthier for svechnikov deal could be in the future makes sense if both teams arent sold on the players and they both have to pass waivers , andrei im sure would push management to make that deal ...id still prefer we call up svechnikov real soon and give him 10-15 games and see how he does , with him missing a whole season of hockey i still havent entirely written him off and would like to see him up before deciding on parting ways but gauthier can definetly be an option if bokk isnt available

Ya maybe , checked their system and team and they have alot of good wingers and if they added AA and svechnikov maybe theyd be willing to move bokk ... havent followed up on gauthier since his draft year but if i had a choice id go for bokk As for byram just figured if yzerman would ever deal him it would be for a young prospect with huge upside, cant see yzerman dealing him anytime soon though

Get seider a german buddy (assuming we get lafraniere and not stutzle) And Not actively thinking of dealing mantha but what would ppl here think if we traded him in a package involving byram ? I would Hate to see mantha go but would really boost our d core for the future If we had byram seider hronek as our top 3

Rasmussen yes ... wanted berggren instead of veleno but we got him at 33. liked jack drury and bode wilde but think we did a good job with those 4 picks overall so cant complain

I cant imagine any of those 2 guys coming to north america at 26 and spending 1-2 years in grand rapids , dont know if they can come down now and play the last 10-20 games and having a trial run like hirose did last year and maybe start down in grand rapids next season but i cant see them sticking there the whole season . Not really counting on anything from those guys Better than nothing i guess
