Looks like hall to arizona , he’s always said he wants to go play for a hockey town so i can’t see him resigning ... looks like desperation from arizona to get in the playoffs done deal , arizona so desperate.... 1st and another conditional 1st bahl, merkley and another prospect -
He did come off a 30 goal season no? Or was it the year prior? Either way he can’t demand for a big deal at this point the way the seasons going . It would have to be a one or two year deal unless he and we are willing to sign him say 25 mill for 6 years and id bet money he wouldnt want that
-
Europe haha i got so much s*** for that , still think hirose will get another look but none of these guys here longterm imo , ive always liked chase pearson and think he might be able to be up next year m like givani smith as another bottom 6 guy over those you mentioned ... either way stevie will have alot of work to be done to get rid of a helm, nielsen i think abdelkader sticks around one more year and we buy him out after next season and take the 4 year cap hit and thats it , unless stevie can find a taker for him at 50% and throw in a hirose + 3rd rounder or something i dont expect us to trade fabbri , im saying id strongly consider it depending what we get at the deadline , if someone offers us the 78th pick in the 3rd probably not but if we can get 50? Maybe .... i dont wish anyone to ever get hurt but im just waiting for it to happen with him, sadly some guys just get injury problems their whole careers and he looks to be one of them although hes been ok for 15 games so far bertuzzi larkin mantha Lafraniere/byfield veleno zadina svechnikov rasmussen mastrosimone/berggren thats what i see in the longterm for the wings in the top 9 and some might not workout but theres also say smith/pearson who might be able to play on the 3rd , doesnt include AA,grewe(who i think will be a wing),soderblom(who we hope will be a gem pick) hirose, next years draft picks etc... point is i dont see how fabbri can possibly be a wing in 2-3 yrs even with some guys being moved and never making it thus we’d strongly have to consider all options come deadline day .... but thats just my opinion wtf do i know Hahaha true that , but when hes had a s*** year like he has thus far he cant be dumb enough to ask for say 6x6? Lmao id just send him to echl at that point I agree 100% he wont be here longterm i just wouldnt rush it to get any assets i still think he can be pretty valuable in a trade so id just be patient and wait it out at this point i see veleno being back in grand rapids next season so i dont think we’re in a rush to deal him now for the 62nd pick lets say
-
I didnt say we would shop fabbri but i would consider dealing him if say we could land the 50-55th pick (no chance in hell we get a first for him). As well as he’s done, its been only 15 games and we’ll always have to worry about the next big injury being it for him and i still dont see him with the wings longterm so id strongly consider it,but i dont think stevie would trade him at this point so no need to worry AA only gets moved if we can get a top prospect or a 1st imo , i wouldnt deal him for a second as i believe he can get back to being a 30 goal guy, we can easily sign him to two years at a reasonable price and get him going towards that mark and deal him to a contender 2021 deadline and a team with cap problems would love to get a guy who can score 30 for 4-4.5 for 1 & 1/2 yrs left on his deal He has to finish strong and end up with say 25 goals otherwise id say we sign him to a 2 yr deal at reasonable cap and wait till 2021 id say hes our best asset that we’d be willing to part with but i wouldnt just sell him to what i believe is a low price just to get rid of him
-
Id have no problem bumping him up but i wouldnt be expecting perlini to be in demand from teams asking for scoring depth lol , i think at this point we have to accept this trade is a bust so far ao good for fabbri and id suspect we’d hang on to him till next season at least but if the kid keeps going and has say 25 pts in 30 games come deadline( havent checked his stats so im just shooting numbers) id suspect we’d be able to pull a late 2nd or a 3rd if we wanted to again , no problem bumping him up but im not expecting him to start torching it up at any point , id be more concerned with boosting AA’s numbers as hed fetch us the best return
-
Whether perlini plays top 6 next 5 games or not he wont be here much longer with zadina,rasmussen,veleno,lafraniere/byfield,svechnikov,berggren,mastrosimone etc... all coming for top minutes next 2 years , if he cant crack it now he’a got zero chance next year we won the fabbri trade and we lost this trade imo , i know some people will say who gives a f*** about regula hes a 3rd pairing dman but the fact is we have no idea if tuomisto, johansson etc.. will make it or not anyways it is what it is at this point fabbri looks good and perlini and even erne at this point dont look too good although erne can maybe be a bottom guy if we somehow can get rid of abdelkader/helm/nielsen
-
I was just joking , and yes the more important guys will be on the teams playing big parts but id still like to have as many guys in the tournament as possible and hopefully surprise i wanted alnefelt last draft so i hope eliasson can surpass him and get the #1 job and play well ,either way should be fun and ill be keeping my eyes our for some possible guys we can get with our early 2nd as well although im sure there wont be too many available since lineups include players prefiously drafted (lukas reichel comes to mind but seeing how the past reichel’s have done id stay away lol)
-
Some of those wings guys arent 100% sure to make it yet no? ... don’t jinx them lol
-
If im regula’s shoes and my hometown team trades me before i can even get started i’d never return

Nick Jensen + 2019 5th Round Pick (BUF) Traded to WSH for Madison Bowey + 2020 2nd Round Pick
nyqvististhefuture replied to Dabura's topic in General
I guess , just dont think it will have too much impact on his contract regardless of which way we go . if he starts next year though his contract might be up at the same time as say zadina and lafraniere/byfield if we’re lucky and stevie will have some big contracts go deal with it thats the only reason im saying to sign mantha/bertuzzi longterm to team friendly deals not saying those deals effect seider specifically just saying in general if we can sign those guys up asap and not risk having to pay bert 5.5 rather than 4.5 and mantha 9 rather than say 7 it will only benefit the wings longterm .... same with hronek haven’t checked his contract situation but if can lock him up a brett pesce deal for 7 years id do it today -

nyqvististhefuture replied to Dabura's topic in General
Not arguing , Just stating i dont think whether he plays now and burns a year off his entry contract or plays next season will have that much of a bearing on his next contract he signs ... we shall see as for the other guys i just said id want to get mantha/bert locked longterm at good numbers which i think would be better for the long run for the team than say mantha extending one year and pops 50 next year and demands 10 per .... anyways -

nyqvististhefuture replied to Dabura's topic in General
Either way though if he’s not getting the money he thinks he can get he wont sign it if his contract is up earlier , im sure agents have seen what happend with mackinnon, gaudreau, marchand etc... and have learned and something about seider tells me he’d be willing to bank on himself and take a shorter deal if he feels hes getting short changed, i dont think we’d get him at something like say 4 mill x8 even if your right and he gets those numbers as you stated what do you think his longterm deal would be ?5-7 per? Its one season of 50 pts , if we were able to get him at 7/8 years at 7 per and hes a future top pairing dman i dont think any of us would complain , i wont get pissed if he plays more than 10 but i dont think its a necessity. Im more concerned in building the future around him with reasonable prices for guys like mantha/bertuzzi/larkin , dont wanna be the next leafs with 4 superstars paid like crazy and the rest of team is making under a mill -

nyqvististhefuture replied to Dabura's topic in General
I think either way when his contract ends in 3 years he’ll be one of the type of guys yzerman will lock in for 8 years which means we’d have him till like 30 and at a reasonable cap hit so im not too worried , i just dont wanna risk ******* him up cause we can’t afford it we need seider to be a star first pairing dman badly .... id be more concerned in getting team friendly deals with bertuzzi/mantha type guys now , getting bert at 4-4.5 x6/7 , maybe a kyle connor type of deal for mantha + cap going up i think we’ll be fine. Stevie knows for his days in detroit that the team will need good cap hits to keep everyone together and actually have a good long run -

nyqvististhefuture replied to Dabura's topic in General
How would that be a good thing?we think(hope) he’ll be amazing but we have no need to rush this kid ... we f***en suck and even if he comes and helps us end up with 5 more wins cause of some his plays how would that benefit us ? We need to be at the bottom 1/2 come 2020 draft would be perfect but at the very least 1-4 , last we need is to fall to 7th id let him play with grand rapids and hopefully help them in a long playoff push and get him ready with some other guys for next season , f*** even send zadina down hes wasting away with the wings with the linemates hes getting -
Wings trade with Coyotes for G Eric Comrie, trade D Vili Saarijarvi
nyqvististhefuture replied to Jersey Wing's topic in General
Shows hes not afraid to draft a russian goalie in the 1st though and if hes suppose to be as good as carey price(although im not a huge fan of his personally ) or just a top stud goalie and cant lose pick then id say he gets picked top 10 for sure , also depends how he goes rest of the season , if russia wins the world juniors and he gets the championship in russia as well for example it will only benefit him even more stevie may not be ok with it but he might have no choice , do think AA has a shot but he’d have to produce more #’s, so id personally be pushing blash to put him on the top line now . And im probably niave but id like to think after pageau teams might look at glendening as a solid 3rd line addition guy and maybe he can land us a 2nd with salary retention anyways all that being said im just anxious to get rid daley and some of the deadweight on this team , heck id even throw bowey at this point for a 4/5th pick at this point to some team looking for playoff depth and call up hicketts rest of the way . Time to take out some trash -

nyqvististhefuture replied to Jersey Wing's topic in General
Id still take one of the high end forwards if we win the lottery without a question, if we fall to 4th id maybe consider it if hes our guy and we can drop to 5/6 and add another 2nd or something , maybe we move AA for a first and can make a move to get in the top 10 to land him somehow i dont know, or move AA for a top forward prospect or dman i think without question though we take a forward with a lottery pick win Id say either way the odds are high we’ll take a forward regardless where we fall but since stevie took vasilevsky you never know -

I dont even want to think of getting the 4th pick , in my mind its byfield/lafraniere but if we happened to fall to 4th and whether we take him at 4 or trade back a spot or 2 i would consider drafting askarov and im sure after stevie pulled the seider move last year he’d have no problem taking him im still gunning for a top 2 pick but seeing as larsson and the other goalies are still a question mark the thought of having a goalie like askarov(if he turns out to be as good as advertised) + seider + hronek on the back end should be golden for the next dozen years really wish we were in the sens shoes this season and had that extra 1st this year than might turn out to be 2 top 10 picks, either way it should be a good draft for us -
Not a fan of howie but definetly not interested in any of those longterm , sadly i can see howard coming back for another year unless we get someone like a greiss to commit to 1/2 year deal but why would he ? Hes in a good spot now and id suspect the hawks would retain the younger lehner or maybe keep both at cheaper options and, cant see crawford getting 6 again
-
Ones i see with most potential are ... larsson/eliasson/pottelberghe ... id include petruzzelli cause hes still 20 but im not as high , rest are just fillers at this point for me

Ones already in europe , the other will be in europe in 2 years -
Sadly i can see howard still here at this point in 2 yrs on single deals as a starter/backup/or splitting games until our future #1 is ready if veleno is our 4c id consider that a bust (i know hed be just starting off but i dont see any benefit to him being here as a 4c) as well as svech, i know your just having some fun but gotta think bodies will be moved which might include the likes of svech and AA just for the fun of it ...21-22 Bertuzzi larkin mantha Lafraniere veleno zadina berggren(erne if hes not ready) rasmussen svechnikov Smith Pearson glendening Dekeyser seider (d involved in AA move) hronek Cholowski lindstrom (veteran cheap $ dman) howard + whoever emerges of larsson/pottelberghe/petruzzelli or else we’ll be stuck with two veteran goalies with splitting duties Provided yzerman can get rid of dead weight and we can land A top pick + some high end kids next season stepping in it should start being a bit more fun to watch wings games
