I have no problems with teams signing guys to 7-8 years , problem is on the teams not being able to contain themselves on who they should give those contracts to maybe if they limited teams to 2 guys per team who can have max deals maybe it would help teams from signing the schmaltz’s to longterm deals

Why wouldn’t Rasmussen start in Grand Rapids? He’s been playing 5-6 minutes a night all season ... the we’re gonna send him down so he can play a ton of minutes and get better everywhere excuse is happening, as for cholowski I don’t think he’ll stay all season but I can totally see him starting there especially with kronwall likely coming back I don’t see us trading his buddy ericsson ... Daley I’ll believe it when I see it a forward is the last thing we need but u can totally see signing a Gardner type since green is gone in a year , ken Holland has cap space and trust me he can’t contain himself he’s gonna find us another player to f*** us up with I’d take him in a second but I don’t think he’s gonna come here at this stage in his career
