Alright so if these teams are going to conviently be saved by a last minute injury i say we just go out and over pay a mike hoffman and give him 1 yr x 5 ( dont think he’ll get that now or hed have already signed) or overpay a mikael granlund x 1 yr and try and get our 1st+ at the deadline and leave like a nielsen rotting on the taxi squad

Yes a 60th pick for taking on 10 million cap space is very valuable At a free price and didnt have to give up any assets or lock them up to 3-4yrs but ok whatever you say guess he missed the memo johnson was on waivers and could been had for free

If we took on killorn and johnson and considered the assets they would fetch us at the deadline as our future assets they wouldnt be nhl ready (if they even make it) until 6-7 yrs we need to be drafting in 2021/2022 and adding 19-20 yr old kids to our pipeline now not in 2024
