I think he won't be back. His second oldest son is going to Sweden to play hockey according to the Hotstove on Hockey Night in Canada tonight. They also mentioned the fact that Homer will probably retire and that may have some influence on his decision. They eat together and ride to the games together. I really don't think the Winter Classic really means enough for him to go through another long season.

Should be really competitive, I say the Penguins in 5, with 4 of those games being one goal games. It might resemble the Det/SJ series two seasons ago. -
Phoenix in 7...I think Smith will play pretty well, but I expect Crawford and Chicago D to play better than they have down the stretch

I agree with getting rid of the extra point. Or else make wins worth 3 points. Like the CCHA does, I would be in favor of that.

I'd remove the top 3 status of division winners. I don't believe that the lack of incentive to win the division would have much of an effect on play. Teams are going to play hard regardless when the standings are as tight as they have been.

Yeah, Sundin played a for a long time and I considered him pretty successful. Congrats Hank! -
Chicago prospect playing forward for the Saginaw Sirit in the OHL. I was able to catch one of his games this season and he looked like a pretty decent skater with really good hockey sense. I believe he has a future in the NHL (NOT a Chicago fan), maybe as a bottom 6 forward. Has anyone watched much Spirit games this year? Just wondering what others thought of his long-term potential.
