Seriously, when was the last time Miller, Andersson, Sheahan or Jurco scored a goal? Was Pulkkinen taught how to take a wrist shot when he was a boy?

Why do things have to go sooo wrong? How hard can it be to just score more than a goal a game?

I would really feel better inside if Howard would not touch the puck unless it's a save attempt. Every flip to the corner from him is a turnover.

I love Babcock's adjustment against teams we haven't beaten yet this year from our own division. Same gameplan, same result. Montreal,Tampa and Boston all own us. Awful.

A month ago this team was tied with the Isles for 1st seed in the conference. What the hell happened? This team is lost. This seems to happen every year. Big slump at the end of the year, needing a few nail biting games to squeak into the playoffs only to get bumped in the first round. I hope this isn't the case. But this is one soft team that can't seem to start playing until they're already down a few in the 3rd when it's already too late. Hope we can wake up soon or Ottawa might just want it more.

I'm really starting to worry. This team looks like some hot garbage right now. In all aspects. I am not expecting any clutch goals, defending or big saves from the goalie. Awful.

Agreed but usually everyone is struggling during a slump. Having one of the best power plays(maybe not recently) is at least a bright spot. I don't think Helm is top 10 in the NHL but, for what he brings to this specific team, he really is a factor. Love his energy. He isn't great but he is efficient and our penalty killing hasn't been very good with him out. I think we just need to get back on track and winning In Philly(which they haven't done since before Christ) would be a great start.

Howard couldn't get us past the 2nd round with Lidstrom, Rafalski, Stuart and Kronwall(when he was actually laying dudes the hell out on a nightly basis). He certainly won't get us past the 2nd round with a Kronwall that seems lost in the #1 role now, Smith, Ericsson(who plays a hell of a lot smaller than he is), Dekeyser and Quincey.

(Present Day)Trevor Kidd would've outplayed Howard and shut the Wings down tonight. What a horrible game and a hell of a schedule coming up.

Ouch. Where was the urgency? Do Jurco and Andersson take bets on which one out of the both of them can be more useless? Is Weiss dead? I knew this game was a loss cause when Zetterberg got his pocket picked by the back of the net on a wide open wrap around. Can't wait to play Philly since we always play well against them....lol

I don't blame management for taking Franzen over Hossa at the time. Franzen is a better cap hit but Hossa is a much better all around player. Hossa didn't exactly light it up for us in the Stanley Cup Finals either. Franzen was absolutely tearing up the NHL and all those goals in March of 08 were insane. He single handedly destroyed Colorado that year in the playoffs. Great times indeed. Not saying I'm happy with his contract now though. Career never really flourished like we all thought it would. All well...hopefully Helm will be back soon. We could use his energy. We haven't been fun to watch the past few weeks.

Rookie goalie aged 22 goes 9-1 when big money goalie goes down and people are actually complaining about his goals against and save percentage? I mean I'll take an ugly win in a Game 7 SC Final over a dominating overtime loss. End result is all that counts. Jimmy has the potential to be a star but he is too shaky, especially come playoff time. I know we'll live and die by him but I would like to get out of the second round this year. I'm hoping Mrazek can play well enough to at least challenge Howard for the starting goalie position sooner rather than later.
