Why can't they start the game off throwing mean hits like they did with 2 minutes left today? So frustrating. You cannot figure skate around against a team like Boston. Good to see Zetts show some emotion. Geez grow a pair guys. Please someone give Mrazek a go, at least as backup. I don't care about his goals against, if we win when he's in then that's all that matters.

Kronwall has been awful. Doesn't seem to matter where Boston is in the standings, we just can't match their intensity every single time we play them. Datsyuk and Z gotta step it up against this team. Boston always shuts them down.

How many shootouts have we lost after thoroughly outplaying our opponent? We did play a good 3rd period though. Give some credit. Geez.

I was addressing you and I felt like you were dismissing me as a Bettman Conspiracy complainer when I rarely say anything about refereeing on this awesome forum. I didn't feel I need to quote because I didn't expect fast replies back right away from other people. I just stated what I saw last night and that I didn't like a lot of it. I just stated my list of reasons for my comment regarding announcers, analysts and a handful of missed calls by the refs. I am not some lame fan that yells out Bettman conspiracy night in and night out. So don't put me in that category as "that" type of fan and no need to reply to me. ^^ Yup all valid points I was making. I rarely use the refs as excuses and I am not because we were clearly outplayed last night for a good 75% of that game. I'm sure we've all been watching Wings hockey for a long time but when you see something that bad, people shouldn't act like I commited a sin for pointing out the network's unprofessional, douchey love for a team that has only 2 more points than we do right now and we have beaten them twice this year. How about talking about the 24th straight playoff appearance and not talk about Sheppard on 4 separate occasions? They hyped up Talbot(deservedly so) too and maybe should've mentioned Mrazek for doing the same thing when Jimmy went down.

Geez Nyquist is one powerful dude if he can force a guy to bear hug him. Not sure if you watched the same game as me but if you don't mind that bs then don't reply to my comment. Wings were outplayed for most of the game. They came out sluggish after their long break so it wasn't as even as the score seemed. Glad they still pulled it out and got an important two points. They(the mighty Rangers) might be stacked with free agent talent but they haven't won a Cup in 20 years. No need to hype them up anymore than they do in my area. They are a solid and fast team, no doubt(and they should be with that talent pool), but the drooling by the network is unwarranted and utterly Crosby-esque.

I really don't think Jurco should be on the first line and I think Andersson brings absolutely nothing to the table. I hope this team grows a pair in the 3rd cause this is exactly how playoff games are gonna go.

Wings are playing real weak and non physical but these announcers are ridiculous and clearly in love with the Rangers. Yandle making a difference? What has he done?

I know complaining about the refs is kinda lame but this team does get a ton of calls. I see a lot of their games and they get those star power calls quite often. Hope we come out a little harder this period.

This will be our 6th straight try with Jimmy in net in the playoffs. If it's another early exit, which it probably will be if we have to play anyone from our division, then I'd think we have to look towards Mrazek. He's a much cheaper option at this point and Howard isn't horrible so he'd probably get us a decent return back in a trade. I'll tell ya that this team lacks a lot of grit come playoff time. There's a tenacity, bite and snarl that they seem to lack which usually the other team we play seems to have more of come playoff time. We get intimidated and our shot selections become awful. Not one player around for rebounds and opponents pushing our guys out of the middle to prevent decent scoring chances. That's what I've seen so far the past 5 years. Jimmy skating into the corner to follow 3 Wing defensemen covering one Nashville player who one timed it to Klein into a wide open net sealed the deal for me. Not sure which buffonery was worse, Howard's or the 3 Wings players. Hope we can get things back on track because I don't feel we have a big enough lead on Boston and Washington for some reason and we still got some tough teams to play. Things seemed greater 3 weeks ago when we were 1st seed. Now things are getting real tight. Gut check time, boys. Let's beat San Jose!

Yea I know it wasn't his fault but I just want the goalie to not give up a goal 1 minute later after we score. He always does this. I like Howard but he is bad in the clutch and the playoffs prove it. He's solid all game and then boom seconds after we score, expect it to go in.
