Wings decide to take yet another night off on NBC against a tough team. I don think we've outplayed the Penguins in a single game since Game 5 in the 09 Cup. We got a tough stretch ahead of us this month. Good luck boys. You'll have to bring an A game most of those nights unlike tonight.

Wings looked like a team that has major problems with the teams in their own division. Mrazek was pretty bad(5 goals on 15 shots). Defense was running around a lot. Random Tampa player has a career night and gets a hat trick. Some lame non call refereeing. Gotta shake it off and put it behind them cause now we got an even more hungry team to face Saturday night.

Mrazek has been pretty bad. Real shame. We can never really hang with this team for some reason. Tampa has our number the past 2 years. Come on guys turn it up a notch!

I saw Leetch ahead of Hull and Modano in some NHL NBC show. I'm sorry but that's crazy. Kane is better than Leetch and he hasn't even played in the NHL for a decade yet.

Awful game trying to play with the lead. But if this happened last year, they most likely would've lost this game after such a bad job laying back with that 3 goal lead. Nice to see Mrazek help get us the 2 points with some good shootout play.

We actually aren't terrible. We still don't have double digit regulaton losses. But we are always taken to school by teams like this. Boston just simply has our number but I'm not gonna say we are a terrible team. We are fun to watch against most of the NHL. But we need to fix the glaring holes that have plagued us the past 5 years that we've been complaining about regarding Holland. We need some bigger forwards and better defensemen in our top 4. I know Jimmy is having a solid year but he scares the living hell out of me against Boston and he always looks like a deer in headlights.

No Lucic or Bergeron and we still got tossed around like rag dolls. Avoid this team in the playoffs at all costs.

I know I've seen this bang for the buck-cap hit explanation as many times as I've seen people complain about Franzen. Of course I'm not singling him out. And if you tell me Zetts, Nyquist and Tatar don't bring as much to the table as Franzen then you're crazy. They hustle all night long every game and bring energy. Tats and Nyquist lead the team in goals and Zetts, although slumping, leads the team in points. No doubt everyone's at fault but I'm not gonna sit here and give Franzen a pass simply because "Franzen is being Franzen." We could've used 2 goals from him last night. No Weiss and our offense struggling..yea we could've used the Franzen beast mode he does about 5 games a year out of the 80. All I'm saying. If I'm not allowed to be a bit ticked after that game last night with my fellow Wings fans here than I'm sorry for being as truthful as I can be.

@number9: Do you have Franzen's cell phone number and play poker with the guy when he is not on the ice? I feel like you're his PR on this forum. The guy is having an awful year. I mean I have his jersey too and I loved him but can't you admit that his 6 goals in 2 games and 0 in the next 20 every year can get a bit tiresome and that he floats a lot? We are all huge fans here but you simply can't tell me he isn't a problem and that other fans aren't allowed to point this out if they want to on a Red Wings' fan forum right?
