I'm reasonably sure it was $7 million per from the Canadiens. I remember reading that somewhere.

Here's the file in MP3, as requested: Daniels_Kal_Game_6_Journey.mp3

You really think the 'Hawks would do anything to help the Wings? No chance.

Daniels_Kal_Game_6_Journey.mov There you go.

Is it time to make some major moves for this year's playoff run?

Major moves? No. A tweak here and there is all they need if anything. -
They miss Chara and Redden's puck-moving abilities a lot.
-
At one point, projected over a full season, Aaron Voros was going to win the Art Ross. The truth is, Fedorov has missed 27 games this season. His six goals and 23 points aren't in 33 games aren't too impressive.

I'd love to see it happen, but Garrioch is just as bad as Eklund.

Weird trade.
-
TSN Good luck, Mat.

So playing Calgary, San Jose, and Anaheim en route to the finals is the same as playing, say, Montreal, New York, and Buffalo? Thinking about travel and playing style here.
-
Toskala has another year left on his contract at $4 million. No chance.
-
Could be -- but there's still another month until the deadline. That should give teams enough time to separate themselves.
-
Samuelsson and a first for Ovechkin.

I wouldn't say it's out of the question, but really, what do I know? Ottawa's going to want futures for Neil. They'll have no interest in a soon-to-be UFA.
-
Dallas won't even consider trading Neal. He's a budding power forward and he's only 21 years old. Anderson is no better than what we've got. The Wings have a lot of blue line depth -- they have nine NHL defensemen already. I can see them going for a fourth-line banger like Chris Neil (maybe that's who you meant) but other than that this roster is probably what the Wings are going to look like in the playoffs.
-
I think that's the least of their concerns right now.

Hossa has some incredible breakaway speed. Hossa, Helm, and Lebda.
-
What happens next? The same thing that always happens -- the fans ***** and moan, talk about trading half of the roster, etc. Then the Wings start winning again.

Since when were Datsyuk and Zetterberg the performance benchmarks for young players? Not everyone can be a franchise player. Filppula's peak potential is probably second-line center. Datsyuk and Zetterberg are top-10 players in the world. Apples and oranges.

Zetterberg denies report of rejecting 10yr, $75 million deal.

I don't buy it.
